    It is a solid 4.5 stars, but I guess I can round this one up to 5 stars
    TL;DR: The majority of people who buy this will most likely be delighted with both the food it cooks and the oven itself, but the following appears to be an issue with this and every brand air fryer out there: it has something nasty from the manufacture on all sides of the heating element. For this reason, IMHO the heating element needs to be thoroughly cleaned with paper towels, including between the top of the element and the fan area (I can only imagine that nasty stuff dripping into food during a cook that uses any of the steam functions. That part of the initial clean is why I knocked it down to 4.5 stars.)- Would be nice if inside it were wider and maybe a hair taller to feed a family of 7 otherwise you have to cook in batches and use the keep warm setting of your built-in oven.- It’s quiet.- It cooks food fast- It’s easy to use, but the recipe book and presets chart can be tricky to understand the first few uses. For example, add and remove have to do with allowing it to preheat with the food out of oven between stages. Although, the recipe and presets chart have many tasty options, IMHO they are best used for getting used to the oven and combination cooking. Otherwise recipes online, etc. that are made for combi steam ovens, air friers, etc. should work fine.- The price was a bit steep considering its size could have been a little wider inside, but the materials and build quality is pretty high such as stainless steel instead of plastic. If this thing breaks down after the warranty is up, I hope it is repairable. There is nothing “yet” close in price that does what this does on the market. The APO is a bit wider, but apparently the APO has a lot of issues and cost double or more the price of this Nuwave.- As of this review there are no accessories such as additional air fry baskets, bake pans, deeper air fry baskets, or deeper bake pans to purchase on Amazon that are made by Nuwave . That is also why it gets 4.5 stars.- I think the only thing missing is a built-in temp probe for certain foods where it can control the temp based upon internal meat temperature. Well and the fact that it only gives presets for New York Steak instead of other cuts of steak.

    Great functionality, use it all the time!
    A great tool; love the steam function. Our family loves Asian dumplings and they come out perfect! Also great for hard boiled eggs and a myriad of dishes. Had an issue with a leak, but customer service was great and replaced the entire unit. Love it!

    It worked great first few weeks, then it started powering off in the middle of cooking & wouldn’t come back on. This was happening several times while cooking my food which took longer to cook.I called Nuwave Customer support & within a week , I had a replacement & it is working great without any issues at all. Their customer service is outstanding & they’re still one of the few companies that stand by their products and satisfy their customers. I will continue to buy Nuwave.This model is easy to use, cooks quickly, food is so crispy and clean-up is easy.

    If you mainly want it for its air frying capabilities, get a traditional air fryer.
    I returned the air fryer/combi oven as it kept showing me error 2 (overheating) whenever I cook anything over 375F. I had to turn off the oven and let it cool off before I can try again. Not sure if I received a lemon or if the oven isn’t intended for back to back cooking. (It won’t stop midway, but after air frying some potatoes for 15 minutes at 375F I wanted to cook something else, and I had to wait 5 minutes so the error can go away.)Now, let’s talk about the actual functionality of this air fryer/steamer/combi oven. It makes great toast, I like preset 57, I always wanted a Balmuda toaster oven and I think it was able to get the toast crispy on the outside and soft/moist in the center. However, the air frying functionality does not work as well as the traditional air fryer (basket type). It doesn’t cook as evenly (there are some hot spots) and was not able to get the surfaces quite as crispy as my old no name air fryer.I also used the combi function to cook a lemon chicken with one of the preset functions. The chicken turned out fine, but the preheating (it preheats to 400F) took forever. I thought I could put the chicken in, dial the preset and come back and the chicken would be cooked. The preheat took 30 minutes and burnt the lemon on the chicken during that process. In my opinion, there were too many preset functions and they all require a lot of babysitting.The steaming function worked great and was the most reliable. It can steam several items at once. Also with the steaming option, it makes it easy to wipe the inside of the oven clean. However, I’m not sure about the drip tray as it’s so small it barely holds any water. When you steam, a lot of water accumulates at the bottom of the oven. I like that it has low temperature/humidity settings because it could be a great use for proving dough.All in all, I think if you already have a lot of small appliances and looking for one to replace all of them, this isn’t it. It does a lot of things, but not as well as single use items. However, if you have a small kitchen with limited counter space, this product is adequate for most of the advertised functions.

    I love this airfyer! A friend of ours had one. So I ordered this and been using it almost every day! Makes hot dogs great, also made a awesome roast with seasoning, pork tenderloin ,crispy fries, and a nice steak. I found it very simple to figure out. Clean up is a breeze.Luv it!!
