    Love It!
    i have used this phone grip for months now. i absolutely love it. the magnet is strong and does not risk dropping your phone when you are doing the 2 finger carry with your hands full. the magnet does not weaken over time. the glow in the dark feature is amazing for finding your phone when its lost in blankets. it glows really bright, however as can be expected when not recharged in sunlight it does fade. this has quickly became a favorite of mine.

    Great idea. However, it is not as good looking as pictured. There is a big plug to hold the liquid and sand in place, which is expected it would be plugged. But is it really necessary to have one so big that it goes all the way to the top side? They do not show that at all in their photos. It may not be a deal breaker for some. But for me, it is an annoyance and now I keep looking at it.Also, the entire assembly of this popsocket is much thicker than I thought it would be. When I was looking at their magsafe line on their website, they promoted the “thinness,” and that u dont have to take them off to charge or mount. Well, that’s not this one..OK, my fault, as now I see that obviously the one I got is not even close to “thin” on any portion of it, and u definitely have to take it off to charge and mount. But what I don’t get is why the whole thing is just so thick anyhow. The original popsockets are thin and the magsafe ones dont need to be this thick to add some magnets to them (which apparently popsockets agree since they are promoting their thinner ones). Just overall big, bulky, and a few flaws in the design.I did give it 4 stars (the plug showing!) as I’m trying not to be biased with my opinion of not liking a few things about it. I will say the magnet strength is really good. Even the magnetic ring sticker is good, I have a Samsung so I had to add it to my case. I was sure the sticker would come off with the popsocket and it did not! If u dont mind the bulkiness and flaws, its a good item as it is well made about does its job. Its just not for me and I most likely will return it.

    Disappointing Quality for the Price
    After just a month of normal use, it’s already falling apart. There’s a film or coating on the surface that’s peeling and chipping off, making the whole thing look scratched and worn out. I haven’t dropped it or been rough with it—it’s just from regular daily use. For something at this price point, I expected much better durability. Definitely not worth the money, especially when cheaper alternatives hold up better.

    A great popsocket for ADHDers like me
    I like this popsocket. I got it because it is a great fidget to calm my ADHD tendencies. The popsocket has blue glow-in-the-dark “sand” in it. The sand flows slowly from one side to another. It will glow a very bright blue of exposed to enough light. I was impressed by how well it could glow.There is a small round plastic peg inside the popsocket. Yes, you can see it very clearly at all times. I assume this is for structural support to ensure the sand can flow and to keep the space from collapsing. The back of the popsocket is noticably thicker than other ones I have owned. It may not fit in some car mounts. The build quality seems to be just okay. The magsafe ring attachs firmly and holds the popsocket well. The popsocket is compatible with adhesive bases if your case does not have a magsafe back.

    Ich hab schon einige Popsockets-Handyhalterungen gekauft. Die Magneten halten bombenfest und das Design ist auch immer schön.Der Halter ist gut verarbeitet. Ich nutze ihn nun schon mindestens ein halbes Jahr und Flüssigkeiten und Sand sind immernoch da wo sie sein sollen.Besonders gut finde ich, dass der Sand nachts leuchtet, so finde ich mein Handy schneller im Bett! xDDas einzige negative ist, dass das Material nach ‘ner gewissen Zeit etwas zerkratzt, aber so ist das, wenn Kinder Handys regelmäßig runter werfen und am Ladekabel über den Boden schleifen! 🥲

    I was having some second thoughts about ordering this as photos and videos of it don’t seem to make it look worth the £30+ price tag. Tried cancelling the order but it was already being prepared so not able to. Received it today and it looks so much better in real life than online. I’m so pleased at having it stuck on my phone case. Cool thing is the blue sand also glows bright in the dark – not an oft-advertised fact about it. If you’re like me who loves gazing at sand clocks, liquid motion timers, lava lamps, etc then you won’t regret buying this. It’s like having one of these toys always with you. Okay now I’m not sure the costs of producing this necessarily is worth as much as the nearly £35 I paid for it. My criticism is the folding base of the popsocket seems a bit flimsy and made of thin bendy plastic. It feels like if I yanked it a bit too hard or too many times, it would eventually wear out and even develop breaks or holes in it. In fact yes had a look at popsocket reviews and quite a few said theirs broke over time.Also I tried the included MagSafe magnetic ring sticker on one of my non-MagSafe phone cases – and I didn’t like it. Basically they include this for people who don’t have a MagSafe case, but I found it doesn’t allow me to take off the popsocket more than once. The first time I tried to take off the popsocket from my non-MagSafe case, the magnetic ring sticker partially detached from my phone case, which then required me to press it back down again. I’m sure if I take off the popsocket from the magnetic ring sticker more times, eventually the sticker adhesive will wear out and not stick well to the case anymore, which then makes the popsocket not great for use on my non-MagSafe phone case. So my recommendation is you get a MagSafe case to attach this popsocket to. Works a lot better this way and you can attach and take off the popsocket more easily and you don’t have to worry about a peeling magnetic ring sticker on your case!I suppose yes it’s quite a spendy purchase for what it is. You know if you use it a lot, it would probably wear out and break eventually, but you could always spend money on another, if you happen to have a bit of money at the time. ~£35 is not cheap for something that just allows you to grip the phone better, but it is aesthetically pleasing and you could argue there’s no price on making you feel better. There are many cheaper alternatives but none of those have the cool tidepool effect of the Popsockets tidepool range.
