   Keeps our carpet looking new.
   We just redid the carpet in our house after 30 years. To help keep that carpet looking new, I upgraded to this self-emptying robot from an older Roomba. It does a great job navigating around our house and seems to clean well. It hasn’t gotten stuck anywhere yet.The app feels a little clunky, but works fine. You really need it at setup. After that, I have it set to clean the whole floor every morning at 7.Bin isn’t very large, but except for a spill we had, with daily cleaning of a new carpet it doesn’t fill. There is a setting to have the robot return to the base every 30 minutes to empty the bin. We haven’t needed to empty the base after 2 or 3 weeks of use. It uses its sensors well and doesn’t bump into many obstacles.In all, we are very pleased

   8 months later & still loving it!
   I’ve had this vacuum for 8 months now and thought I’d come back and update my review just to let everyone know this vacuum is still going strong!When I ordered this shark vacuum it came in the original box, had all the paper work and honestly looked brand new. It smelled new, looked new… I would have never guessed it was a refurb. The price was so low, I didn’t expect something so good. I bought the extended warranty just in case but I’ve had zero issues thus far.I have two dogs, two kids and a blue collar husband who wears his work boots in the front door and into the living room. This vacuum has cleaned my house DAILY for 8 months with NO days off! I’ve deep cleaned it 3 times bc honestly that’s all it has needed. It’s very easy to clean, as literally everything that comes off the machine can be cleaned with Lysol and water in the sink & then air dried before putting back together.The app has been easy to navigate since day one. I’ve had zeros issues with the app and have used it many times. I did purchase this item myself & am not being paid to write a review. I research almost everything I buy so I wanted to come back on here and do an update for anyone looking to purchase!I really do recommend this vacuum to everyone and I will be purchasing one for my mom for Christmas this year.

   Connectivity Issues – Updated – Terrible Support
   I’ve had this for about 10 months now. Never ending connectivity issues that have progressively gotten worse. It seemed fine for a few months, then would disconnect and the only way to reconnect was to get fully reset and set it back up again. As of late, it will run once or twice and a couple days later, I have to reset it. Just absolute trash, which is unfortunate as our other Shark robot is excellent.I finally found time to call tech support. You have to call because chat or email isn’t an option so that’s an inconvenience. The gentleman I worked with was extremely pleasant but all he could do was walk me through the same reset procedure I have been doing so that he could note it and recommended I call back next time it disconnects. Certainly not his fault but looking at other reviews, there are clearly consistent issues with this robot so I’ll have to jump through some more hoops in the coming days.I will say, when it works, it does a great job. I’ve had good luck with Shark Ninja products in the general but this one is a dud and will make me think twice before purchasing another bot from them.UPDATE 03/20/24 – After nearly a MONTH of dealing with their tech support, I’m ready to toss this into the garbage. SharkNinja’s support, while very nice, are useless. Every call, it’s starting from scratch. I’ve been promised callbacks on 3 occasions and not one callback has occurred. On top of that, they try the same thing: reset and reconnect the bot, then they say they’re going to push a firmware update that could take up to 2 days. That time comes and goes, no firmware update and the bot disconnects. They’ll tell you they need to try it one more time and then they’ll look at other options. This is unacceptable. Terrible product and terrible service.

   Finally A Robot Vacuum That Works Properly
   So after trial and error of 3 previous robot vacuums, this one was a winner. Previously, I tried the Shark AV2501AE AI Robot Vacuum (only has 1 brush vice what pic says), OKP Robot Vacuum L3 (Just completely stupid), and Enboya Robot Vacuum (could never make it back to base). All of those 3 were terrible and faulty one way or another.But this Shark, works great. The room mapping works perfectly and is done fairly quickly. I do wish the app had a more features/options, like manually empty the vacuum into base. Aside from that, the vacuum makes it back to its base every night, is able to understand the no-go zones, and even using the high suction, is able to do my whole place. I have it run at 3am in the morning, and it hasn’t woke me up yet. This one was a great purchase, whether you get it refurbished or brand new. I got mine refurbished, and it definitely looks like it ran into the wall and paint scuffed it a couple times, but so far haven’t had any issues. I took off 1 star because of the app missing some features and the scuffs around the vacuum.

   Refurbished works!
   I bought a shark robot in 2020. Best $300 I ever spent!!! Sadly sharky died. In comes Dusty! $149 refurbished new best friend! It came in the original box with all parts still in packaging! Only thing I could see was the map had been used. I erased it and voila! This is now the best $149 I ever spent! If you have dogs you will love it!

   Less work on my daughter!
   I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. She just used it and it’s suction power is great. She has 2 dogs,2 cats and a 4 mos. baby. It picks up everything.
