    Outstanding pickup for both carpet and hard surfaces
    This is a perfect handvac! It picks up about anything with strong power on both the carpet and hard surfaces! It works better than my standup vacuum! It’s easy to use and very easy to clean. It’s a bit noisy but worth it for the job it does! The battery didn’t wear down at all on a rather large area. The assembly is a no brainer too. Love it!

    This is a wonderful hand vacuum. I have had hand vacs for years, but this one is by far the best. I really like the power it has to pick up dust and dirt. It’s easy to clean and change the filter (which doesn’t have to be done too often). I really like using it to vacuum my car’s interior. I have one upstairs and one downstairs at home. And, of course, one in my office at work.

    this is a great vacuum – my old one lasted 11 years
    i love this vacuum. this is my second time purchasing one. my first one lasted ELEVEN YEARS and it was still working great until it finally died.after getting the new one and seeing how powerful the suction is on the new one, i did realize that my previous one had declined pretty significantly by comparison – however it was still so good that i didn’t notice!i love that this vacuum charges on a dock, rather than having to plug an adapter into the body of the vacuum like some other handheld vacuums. that’s one reason why i chose to buy it again instead of trying out a different model.i think this newer version also seems to stop charging when its finished instead of continuing to charge forever, because the bright blue light goes off instead of staying on. i could be wrong though, but if that is the case then i think it is better for the batter life, and also the blue led was super bright so it used to be annoying at night.

    We love it!
    This is clearly one of our most used product of 2025 as we brought it mainly to suck up the constant human hair on the floor and this does the job beyond good. Its speed, power delivery, suction power, and ease of use is excellent. Despite a bit pricey and it’s from B+D, this little sucker can really suck (no pun intended)! Althought for noise sensitive users, may want to opt for a more quiet model, but hey you have trade off some thing right? We love it!

    Powerful little “sucker!”
    Bought this to replace an older 16V model, which itself replaced the same model from a previous purchase. We love these little gizmos. Incredibly handy and versatile. It’s easy to carry around, well balanced. My only complaint would be that it’s a bit noisy, but I suspect that if it was quieter its performance wouldn’t be nearly as good as it is. Our primary use is to tidy up around the kitty litter box. No matter what, their little paws always bring a little of the litter out onto the tile floor. This sucks it up with no difficulty at all. But we also use it all around the house for touch ups, for example in the kitchen around the edges of the floor and under the cabinets. Keeps things nice and tidy. Has plenty of battery life. We can do multiple jobs over multiple days (average time of use is perhaps about a minute total; moving from one area to another usually turn it off briefly until ready to clean). The charging unit makes it incredibly easy – just sit it down on the unit and a blue light shows it’s charging. The light goes off when done. This 20V unit definitely does have more suction than our prior B&D 16V (they look alike, this one’s gray/black, that one was a light blue). VERY easy to empty and clean. The fabric filter unit (though they sell replacements if you don’t want to bother, but it’s honestly so easy to do and, get this, I’ve never had to buy a replacement filter – they’re incredibly durable – the unit’s BATTERY (see below) has “died” before the filter fabric/material has worn out!) is easy to clean. Gently brush off the majority of the debris into a trash can, then a little dish soap and hot water cleans it up and we air dry it. There’s a plastic “first stage filter” that washes quickly, and the body (dirt container) cleans quickly w/soap and water. A few hours drying and back in business again. The nozzle fits in plenty of tight spaces. This is our 3rd unit (each one seems to last about 2 years, which I don’t think is terrible at this price point), so we’re quite pleased with the product line for sure. It’s the battery that seems to “go” on them. Though I’m not honestly sure how much of this may be “user defined” than the battery itself. I try to let the battery drain down before charging, my wife always puts it right back onto the charger. Theoretically being a lithium ion battery it shouldn’t have a “memory,” but I think that it should be used until nearly “out” then recharged. Regardless, with our pattern of use as noted we’ve had 3 of them (this being the 3rd, and it’s only about 2 months old now as I write this), the prior two (again, 16V, different model) having each lasted about 2 years. BTW, the plastic filter cup and the dust container are exactly the same, even on this new model; I’ve simply saved those parts from the old machines in case I might need to replace, but have never had to! I paid full price for this item and I’m an average end-user customer. This is my honest and unbiased by any remuneration review.

    Probably one of the best portable vacuums we have ever had. Purchased this model 8 years ago and it’s finally slowly refusing to charge. After buying dozens of these over the years for home and business the 12V and 20V units hold up very well. Pity a previous reviewer didn’t use due diligence in researching his purchase. Caveat Emptor.A simple inexpensive voltage converter cures the differential. This product originates in the US, so logical step would be determine the operating voltage before purchase. Of the myriad of international products introduced the Singapore shores a savvy shopper would know this.Purchased this replacement model before they disappear forever since we can’t find a like unit from a different manufacturer. I am very happy with this unit – the filter is almost indestructible and the longevity is commendable. Sadly, DustBuster has discontinued this model.
