Compact and Efficient: A Daily Essential
This Countertop Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System has been a fantastic addition to our new apartment since we moved in back in May. My wife and I have used it daily, and the water tastes excellent. Every morning, we filter water and store it in multiple jugs in the fridge. The system is incredibly convenient, though we do wish the water tank and carafe were slightly larger to reduce the need for frequent refills. That said, its compact design is perfect for our kitchen and doesn’t take up much counter space. We keep it next to the sink for easy refills, and the white finish looks great with our decor. One minor issue we’ve encountered is occasionally starting the filtration process with water still in the carafe, causing some overflow. A sensor to prevent this would be an awesome improvement. Despite this, it’s a reliable system that provides consistently great-tasting water and fits seamlessly into our daily routine.

    Impressive Countertop RO
4 months in edit: Continuing to operate great. I decided to come back to see how other reviewers were responding which most are very positive. I’m using about a gallon a day and purchased liquid minerals to add back into drinking water. The concerning part is I can see the quality of my tap water by looking at the TDS from the source (total dissolved solids). My tap water ranges from 150 TDS up to 350 TDS (which is not considered good to drink). 4 month later I’m still finishing with 4-5 TDS on a 1.2L fill. Even to test, I cleared the water out, refilled with the RO water to test. Sure enough, after the flush sequence which pumps water back through the filter to keep it clean, the source TDS was around 30. After filtering, back down to 3-5 range. I started off using a distiller which took forever. I’m not able to do an under the sink RO, so I needed a countertop and something portable if I wanted to move the location. I wanted clean water for drinking and for my humidifiers – to keep them from getting nasty after uses. The packaging protects nicely. The quality feels solid, it has decent weight, is stable on the counter, and easy to work with.Detachable tank to fill with water and used for flushing. You’ll get the full 1.2L carafe filled in a minute or two when you run it. It is relatively quiet when using the pump. It includes beeping for notice when the tank is removed or the filters are nearing end of life.Overall I’m very impressed with the product in the short time I’ve been using it. Plus, when you register, you’ll get an extra year on the warranty, 2 year total warranty. The water visibly is clearer and better tasting. My water out of tap is around 150 TDS (Total dissolved solids) and after running through the RO, it has been coming out 11-15 TDS, which the display will tell you both of those. You can see and taste the difference.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Water Filter – Clean, Crisp Water Every Time!
I’ve been using the Ecoviva Water Filter for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed with the quality and performance. The installation was quick and easy, and the difference in taste was noticeable right away—no more chlorine odor or odd aftertaste. The water is clean, crisp, and refreshing.I also appreciate that it’s eco-friendly and cost-effective compared to buying bottled water. It feels good knowing I’m reducing plastic waste while enjoying better-quality water at home. The filter has a sleek design and fits perfectly under the sink without taking up much space. Overall, I highly recommend the Ecoviva Water Filter.

Works OK overall. But has a few issues that need attention.
It works but has a few issues. The top of the fill tank was very difficult to remove when I first started using this machine. The fill tank is also difficult to remove. I have to pry on the corner with a butter knife to get it to star moving. You can fill the reservoir 3-4 times before removing the fill tank though. So not a huge problem. Other than that the machine works well. The water tastes great and is much cleaner than my water distiller plus my carbon filtered water pitcher. I just wish that the top and the tank were easier to remove. The manufacturing tolerances seem a bit too tight.

    Persistent bad taste
We’ve had this unit for about a week and a half now. It is our fourth one of various brands in 7 months.I followed the setup instructions for flushing this unit twice and then running 5-7 tanks before drinking any water. Numerous tanks later, the filtered water tasted better than tap water but still had a noticeable chlorine and bitter taste. Very frustrating for a brand-new unit.I finally consulted the troubleshooting guide on what to do about bad-tasting water. It suggested flushing the filters 3 more times and running 3-5 more tanks before drinking. It helped, but for all of two or three tanks. Our tap water runs about 90-150 TDS, and this unit says it outputs about 5-12 TDS. Not spectacular.I do wish companies would start using alternatives to plastic, too. The cheap plastic tank lid and carafe lid can only add microplastics to the water. From reading other reviews, it looks like this unit is probably bound for similar complications I experienced with others, but we’ll see.We only need a unit for a few more months. I am so tired of the hassle with all the poorly made countertops.I will say the instructions are better than most, which isn’t saying a lot. I appreciate that the manufacturer supplied good instructions and think others would have fewer returns if they did the same. The unit is smaller than most countertops, which is also a plus. The carafe/pitcher is a good size, too. If only it didn’t output horrible water.

This is exactly what I was looking (hoping really until I found this) for.1. No secondary pollution – glass container (No plastic leaching into water) – This is the biggest point as its rivals use plastic.2. RO filter to get rid of pollution in water (UK Tap is good already but they don’t filter for nanoplastics – which is emerging as a new, and quite significant, health threat)3. Simple functionality without all the complex bits and bobs. It’s plug and play baby.Simply put, this achieves all the above extremely well as well as:- Looking stylish- Having a large capacity (less fill ups)- Feeling solid and well built- Extremely well designed and thought out – it checks filters to tell when they need replacing, and a TDS monitor so you can monitor in real time it’s effectiveness and also the amount of TDS in the water you’re putting in.- Less expensive than most of its competitorsNotes:This is an AMERICAN product – it has a american plug so get an adapter!More notes:My UK tap water is hard – around 200 to 300 catergory. This aligns with research in my area. This machine brings that down to 20 to 35. Not only that, but TDS are smaller than most nano/microplastics, so I can be assured that no more plastics are entering my body through the water now. Now just have to worry about food plastic intake but that can be managed.5/5 product from this mad scientist

This is a great product for single-person households or small families who don’t cook much. It doesn’t require drilling holes in the sink, and there’s no hidden water tank or long hose connected to the water pipe, which prevents secondary contamination.I previously used a $3000 RO water purifier that connected directly into the tap, but this one not only takes up less space, better in every aspects.
