    Great in trail cameras
High quality outdoor sd card. Handles the moisture like a pro sd card should.I’ve used them in all 8 of my Browning trail cameras for 2 years now without a single problem. I use nothing but Sandisk products.

Has the capacity, but not the speed
SanDisk is a somewhat trusted name in storage so we should all fully expect their products to live up to their advertised capabilities. This pair of cards are advertised as having 64GB of capacity with a read speed of 170MB/s, and a write speed of 80MB/s. In the vein of one of my favorite youtube channels, “and we’re gonna test that!”Note that, these are full size SD cards, they are not micro SD cards in an adapter. Make sure your device actually takes a full size SD card or you’ll be out of luck here.First, the capacity is advertised. I ran both units through h2testw and it reported the expected capacity, and was able to write/read the whole capacity without errors. These really are 64GB SD cards. Now on to speed. I tested both cards multiple times with CrystalDiskMark, the gold standard for testing storage like this. The best result it was able to come up with was 90.59MB/s read and 88.93MB/s write. The write is better than advertised, but the read is much lower. So I double checked the amazon listing and noticed this little bit of extra text:> (Up to 170MB/s read speeds, engineered with proprietary technology to reach speeds beyond UHS-I 104MB/s, requires compatible devices capable of reaching such speeds. … )So unless you have SanDisk’s “proprietary technology”, whatever that is, then 90MB/s is probably the best you will see. Don’t let the packaging fool you. 4/5 for almost being as advertised.

Holds Many Photos and 90Min of Video
This is a 2-pack of 64GB SanDisk memory cards. Nowadays 64GB may seem like a small storage amount when there are cards that hold 256GB. Depending on what you are writing to these cards will determine what size you need. 64GB can hold thousands of photos and 90 minutes of 4K video. The transfer speed is 170MB/s and capture speeds are 80MB/s. This is a good speed for quick transfers. The nice thing about these cards is that they can handle extreme temperatures, humidity, water, drops, and shock, but this only pertains to the cards, not the device that holds it. I am satisfied with this item.

    Standard Sandisk Cards
Pretty standard SD cards from Sandisk. Its nice to have dedicated outdoor SD card as i’ve had issues with corrosion on some standard cards used in the past. These cards are tested under some extreme conditions, i’d be very surprised if anyone managed break them from the elements alone. I’m quite sure these would survive a car crash since they get tested at 500 G’s. I really appreciate the bright orange color since i’ve had SD cards shoot out of the slot when being removed (looking at you, Cannon). The orange won’t be the best contrast against tree leaves in fall but its much better than the black most cards come in. The speeds aren’t anything to write home about but I am getting the 170mbps write speeds as advertised so I think it’s safe to say the read speeds will be in line as well. Just a heads up, SD card prices have been dropping like a rock now that type A cards prices are becoming slightly less ridiculous; If you’re on the fence about buying SD cards, it pays to wait.

Getting 170MB/s May Require Special Reader
I tested these SanDisk 64GB Outdoors SDXC cards using a USB-C card reader plugged directly into my motherboard. The write speed is the most important factor for recording 4K video, and these exceeded the claimed 80MB/s write speed claimed in the specs. I consistently got 83-86MB/s write speeds in all tests.I was unable to get more than 95MB/s read speeds, which is less than the claimed 170MB/s. I suspect the 170MB/s may only be achievable with SanDisk’s proprietary readers. For the price of these cards, it would have been nice if SanDisk included a reader that could achieve the claimed read speed. It’s not that big of a deal, 90+ MB/s is still plenty fast for transferring files off the card.I’ve never had a problem with SD cards being damaged from weather or heat, but these are supposedly made to withstand a bit more environmental abuse than standard cards. Great for trail cams or outdoor security cameras.

    Reliable memory cards!
I used one of these in a trail cam and one on an outdoor camera.I have not tested the speed on a pc yet. The one used in the trail camera fell on the wet ground a couple of times and is still working fine. The color stands out in dim light and can be fairly easily visible than the regular black ones. The one on the outdoor camera has been working great since it was inserted in it. The weather had been below freezing for many days and snowing and no issues so far.I have used SanDisk memory cards before in my Nikon and Sony cameras and they have been working great for a long time.Highly recommended if high speed is not a concern.

Does what it says, and stores what it says. What more could you want?
These SanDisk cards are great. Frankly, I went with the Outdoor for the same reason as another reviewer… the orange color makes them standout! I’m prone to leaving my SD cards in places they don’t belong, so this is a great ‘upgrade’ for me. The fact that they’re designed for ‘extreme’ use is great, too – I sometimes leave my camera gear in frigid-cold or too-hot cars overnight by accident, and the ability to not worry about the cards themselves is super. As far as use and performance, so far so great. These indeed have the advertised storage space, and I’m realizing the stated speeds in my use cases. These are perfect for me!
