Fresh air, great air flow, removes cat box dust from air quickly
The Core 300-P is a great air filter for my needs. Perfect for my bedroom and RV. Just the right size to get the job done without taking up too much space or looking out of place. Had been looking for the Pet Specific filter replacement but was not finding them in stores. So glad to find them here. Great price and the filter is doing a great job keeping pet dander, as well as the dust from the litterbox, out of the air. The charcoal filter does the trick and keep the air smelling fresh. Also noticed a huge difference in air flow after changing the filter. Great air filtration unit and equally great replacement filter. I will only use the official manufacturer’s filters from this point forward.

OEM HEPA filter
Genuine OEM filter. Indoor air quality has often been overlooked but can be more hazardous than the outside air especially during the winter when the house is buttoned up. Pet dander, pollen, dust, cigarette smoke, radon, cooking oil fumes are all a nuisance (allergies) at the very least to toxic (carcinogenic) at the other end of the scale (cooking oil fumes are known to contain polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons which are carcinogenic when inhaled). Also, depending on where you live, radon gas (which is a radioactive byproduct gas from the decay of uranium-238) could ingress the basement and lower levels of a house without proper mitigation controls. Not saying HEPA filters alone can deal with radon but should be used in concert with carbon activated filters and exhaust filtration in the basement. However, HEPA filters are the best proven technology in filtering out 99.97% of aerosolized particulates down to 0.3 microns in size. That covers dust, pollen dander, cigarette smoke particulates, PAHs, some viruses, and other airborne particulates.

Good for what it is
A knock only on price but this has been the best filter to use with an air purifier of this type. I keep mine next to my litter box and it’s been working great as far as filtering out smell and pet hair. The suggested replacement interval seems about right as well. Upon opening it up you can really see how much dust, dander and pet hair have been accumulated. People say you “can” vacuum the filter to extend its shelf life, but I think that’s doing a disservice.Set this up on subscription and don’t have to worry about remembering to replace.

Gute Qualität, aber man kann den Filter auch “modden” und er wird erheblich effizienter. Habe mit ein Drahtgitter gekauft und daraus einen Zylinder gebaut und dann zwischen den Hohlraum des Filters und dem Drahtgeflecht bis fast ganz oben eine dicke Schicht (mehrere cm breit) Kokosfaseraktivkohle in kleiner Körnung gepackt. Der Filter hält dadurch doppelt bis dreifach so lange. Wichtig: Es sollte eine Coronamaskengewebe das sehr feinmaschig ist von der Unterseite über den eingebauten Ventilator mit Panzertape/Klebeband geklebt werden, das filtert auch kleine Partikel der Aktivkohle aus, damit der Ventilator und der Levoit als Ganzes lange “lebt”. Und die Filteraussenseite regelmässig mit (Hand-)Staubsauger reinigen, dann hält er auch länger.
