    Great customer support
Initial uv unit did not function after completing instal. Contacted customer service and they overnighted a replacement unit that functions perfectly. Instal was easy and all parts included except for optional fuse for DC installation. 2 week old water from my Airstream’s tank tasted great.

Wrong Tee supplied – Don’t buy this kit unless you want a trip to the hardware store!
As someone else pointed out – QA/QC Fail! The wrong size Tee was supplied in my kit too. A 3/8″ OD side branch Tee was supplied when all the tubing connections are 1/4″ OD. The product was all new in original packaging so this was not an after the fact mistake. Lippert / Accuva – you need to get this fixed at the source, as you have a systemic problem. I cannot finish my installation today without either waiting for a replacement or making a trip to my local hardware store.UPDATE: I contacted the manufacturer via Amazon’s customer support and they said I had to deal with Amazon ONLY, so they were not helpful and did not even acknowledge that they have a problem in their supply chain. (Their response: Thank you for contacting Lippert. Amazon requires any issues regarding an Amazon order to be addressed with their customer service. Per our agreement with Amazon, we cannot act as a vendor once the part is purchased from Amazon. Below is Amazon’s customer service contact information to help with the return process…).I partially resolved the issue with a chat with Amazon customer service, where they offered a 10% of the order value as a partial refund, as I’d already installed the unit (minus the tee) in my RV, which is about $20 more than the replacement valve will cost (it’s a $28 + tax part on Amazon, but with a 1 week delivery time). Amazon would or could not supply a replacement part, so I have to get the part from the hardware store or elsewhere. I will also get a plastic compression gland nut and ferrule for the plastic tubing connection, as these fittings are really designed for copper tubing and I’ve learned from past experience that it’s hard to get a leak free seal on plastic tubing with copper compression fittings / glands. In short – don’t buy this kit unless and until someone confirms that Lippert / Acuva have corrected their supply chain issue, and are supplying the right size valved tee, unless you want to make a trip to the hardware store, or buy the correct valve (and plastic tubing compression gland and ferrule) at the same time. Due to the hassle factor, I’ve reduced my rating from 2 to 1 star.

    Water tastes so delicious
I ordered this as recommended by a friend in Canada. This is now a game changer in my van. I no longer have to carry 2 gallons of water to drink when I use my van. The acuva was installed by a professional and they did a great job following the instructions that Acuva has on youtube. We attached the electric to the water pump so that when I turn on the water pump, it works without having to turn on the inverter. I am very pleased with the faucet, the way it all fit nicely under the sink and the taste of the water is absolutely delicious. I feel so much more confident in drinking the water from the PleasureWay van. Now I want to install this in the house as well. Thank you.

Clean, great tasting water, no matter where I travel
I bought this, after my sister convinced me it was better than bottled water. It wasn’t that difficult to put in. The hardest part is the cramped quarters of my travel trailer. I opted to put it in my bathroom, since the access was easier in there. Now, I have safe, UV treated, bacteria free water for cooking, and brushing my teeth. You will need to buy 1 set of compression fittings for the plastic tubing.

    Includes incorrect Tee!
The tee includes is 1/2″ PEX with a 3/8″ *OD* output. Yet the white R.O. tubing included is 1/4″ OD. I do not believe it was swapped in by someone else; the tee was packaged in a plastic bag and the box is sealed. This makes me believe it came from the factory this way.Which means you cannot cannot the water line properly. You either have send it back for a replacement and see if the replacement includes the correct tee, or buy the correct tee or line adapter.Quality Control fail.

    LOOK OUT FOR LEAKS
my product was leaking from the uv purifier BOX but it didn’t find it till today. Apparently it had been dripping for a long time and the water caused some damage. I just checked my purchase details and wouldn’t you know it? My return privileges ended on April 26. I see that there have been others with this problem. 🙁

Water filters available through the company.
You can get all the filters you need if you go direct through the company. How will of people to only look through Amazon. Best tasting water!!!

nice product BUT you can’t get replacement filters
I have tried to get a replacement filter for this unit. OUT OF STOCK EVERYWHERE!!! I tried to contact manufacture they will not contact me back. Don’t waste your money. They will sell you a whole unit with the filter but not a replacement filter.

Use this at our vacation property to provide safe drinking water. Easy to remove for winter to protect from freezing.

The filter worked for about a month, and it took over three months to get the warranty honored despite clear evidence that it wasn’t working. They practically asked for the moon while passing the buck between the manufacturer (Lippert), the retailer (Ibis RV Marine), and Amazon. They tried to trap me by asking for a photo of the box, serial numbers, and the unit five months later. Luckily, I had everything. At that point, they scheduled a return followed by a refund minus a $10 administration fee. They didn’t replace the filter, claiming they were out of stock, but they’re still selling it on Amazon… Strange, isn’t it?
