    Don’t worry. it’s not 4 HP!
    I almost did NOT buy this vacuum because in the spec’s it was rated at 4 HP. One HP is 746 Watts. So 4 HP is a tad shy of 3000 Watts. That would pull about 25 Amps of current from a household circuit. That was way more than I wanted to pull in my shop where I have other lights, machines and computers on the same circuit. I made an educated guess/bet that someone somewhere made a mistake in listing this as 4 HP. So I bought it anyway because everything else about it looked good.When it arrived, I set it up and put it on my Kill A Watt meter, and lo, much to my relief it pulls only 790 Watts (see photo). So I can use this in my shop when other things are on as well.Does it work? Oh yes. It is great. It has considerably more suction than the little plastic vac I bought at the big orange chain store (which I did kind of like for its small size and general utility, but which never seemed to last more than a year or two of moderate use before the bearings would wear out). The hose on this machine is larger diameter (which means less resistance to the airflow along the way) and nicely flexible and even rotates in the fitting on the vacuum body so that it is easy to change the orientation of the working end. It also blows air out the exhaust very well when you want to plug the hose into that end and use it as a leaf blower or car drier. I was skeptical about whether I would enjoy having casters on it, but they don’t take up a lot of extra room and it is kind of nice that this will follow you around easily as you vacuum a shop or you car. It comes with a useful assortment of tool end fittings. Overall: perfect moderate size (not too big or too small), economical price, excellent suction and blowing power, sturdy enough build, good hose and tool attachments, and luckily it doesn’t draw so much power that you’ll be blowing circuit breakers!

    Very sturdy!
    I bought this to replace another shop vac I had bought a few years ago. I absolutely love this vacuum! Not only is it so cute, but it did a great job cleaning up my very dusty basement. Also, I accidentally dropped it down the stairs while I was cleaning, and it didn’t even dent and still works perfectly! I haven’t used it as a wet vac yet, but I am pretty happy with it.

    Good little vac, but cheap plastic parts.
    Would be 5 stars except that the plastic cord wrap that is supposed to be attached to the bottom of the canister was broken off on arrival. It was not worth the headache to return it for that, and I needed to use it asap. It does seem to work well, and the multiple attachments and angled hose is very convenient. It is on the small side, but that is exactly what I expecting & wanted. It’s light weight and easy to maneuver into small areas which is exactly why I ordered it.

    Got pet hair? This is a perfect solution!
    Just wow! Ok, a little background…I have 3 quite large Maine Coone cats and they shed A LOT! There has been no upright vacuum motor, so far, that can stand up to that kind of dirt and pet hair. Today I finally got a chance to use this new purchase to go over 4 rooms in my house. The motor didn’t get bogged down, there is no rotor for the hair to wrap around, and the suction power was amazing! This mighty little vacuum is lightweight, easy to maneuver on the 4 wheels, and stores easily in a coat closet. Clean up and emptying the cannister was a piece of cake. Love, love, love, the fabric filter!

    Good power and quieter than my old 5gal
    My old 5gal wet dry finally gave up the ghost. Saw this at a really good price, about half of a same replacement of my 5 gallon for a 6 gallon and used same bags. This unit is very quiet compared to my 15year old 5 gallon and much better suction. Has a longer hose and cord, stainless tank and decent attachments. Really surprised at what a good deal this was. Been using it for over a month on my down stairs remodel LOTS on junk picked up.

    Awesome Little Vacuum
    Works just as well as a $200 vacuum, plus does everything I need it to do, from cleaning the car, to cleaning out the mini split ACs, to the fan blades. I love that it’s small but powerful. The cord is long enough, as well as the hose, so I don’t have to unplug and replug, allowing me to move around easily.

    it really is a great shop vac don’t get me wrong. It works amazingly and I would definitely recommend it 100%. The only reason why I gave it four stars is because of one design flaw. A shop vac should have the ability to suck up both something wet and something dry and this does except when there’s something wet you have to change the filter and when it’s something dry, you have to change the filter. I don’t know if all Shop Vacs are like that, but that’s definitely a little bit inconvenient. However, it’s very lightweight. It’s got a lot of power. It’s not that noisy. It’s very versatile. It’s great because I use it to clean out my car as opposed to the Dustbuster that I was using before which ran out of power and filled up quickly. this does not and it stays on. I would definitely recommend this shop vac, it truly is awesome, I was just being honest about my review..

    Amazon Basics -Came packaged really well. Wet dry vac. Vac works well with good suction. 4 Gallon vac with 3 hp engine. Comes with 6 attachments. 3 hose extensions, small brush, large brush multi purpose bristles and water squigi removable attachment. Perfect for cleaning up any mess with ease. The cord is short at only 6 feet. You will need an extension cord. I’m pleased with my new shop vac.
