    Simple, Elegant, and Great-sounding
A little bit on the bassy side of sound, but it’s otherwise very high-quality. Music, games, movies, and even calls sound wonderful in it. I can’t say the same for the microphone that comes in with one of the cables, as it tended to have a lot of white noise. Otherwise, the microphone was clear and my calls were audible with some noise cancellation, albeit it sucks to need that. The headset’s comfortable enough to wear all day, as the cups are soft and the headband is quality. The cable length is great, but I wish it was a tad little longer for my case as my PC is under my desk and the cable barely reaches the headset on my head when seated a tad too far away from my desk. One of the cables also didn’t last very long, as I had to switch to the other after half a year(?) of using it. Speaking of which, props to Corsair for bringing a mic cable and a non-mic cable for the headset. I love the simplicity of the headset – pure 3.5mm analog connection and no volume slider to worry about, like most other headphones. The VIRTUOSO was a solid buy.

    Perfect Headset!!!!
I’ve been using the Corsair Virtuoso Pro headset for months now, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best headsets I’ve ever owned. The sound quality is truly phenomenal the audio is so crisp and clear, making every detail pop. As someone who has always used closed-back headphones, this is my first experience with an open-back headset, and I absolutely love it. The design allows me to hear my surroundings more easily, which is great for staying aware of my environment, while the audio itself has a natural, expansive quality that’s incredibly immersive. Despite being an open-back design, I’ve found that it barely leaks any sound, which is a huge plus. The versatility of this headset is fantastic, as it works amazingly with both my PC and my Xbox Series X. It comes with a mic attachment, which is a great bonus. The mic sounds pretty good for what it is, but for my primary use, I stick with my dedicated PC microphone. The build quality is top-notch, and the headset feels very premium and durable. Comfort is another major highlight. I’ve spent countless hours gaming and studying while listening to music, and the generous padding on the earcups and headband makes it one of the most comfortable headsets I’ve ever worn. I can wear it for extended periods without any fatigue. Seriously, every aspect of this headset is five stars in my book. I would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, comfortable, and versatile audio experience.

    Disappointed with Range of Headset
Considering the price of this headset, I am a bit disappointed with the range of connectivity for these wireless headphone with the USB dongle. I have owned a ASTRO A20’s Wireless headset (w/ USB dongle) and I am able to walk freely around my 1000sq ft house with minimal cut of audio. However with these headphones, audio cuts out almost completely once you move out of visible sight of the dongle, i.e. another room. Disappointing for a headset that is 2-3x the price. That said, the audio quality is nice and clear. The ability to use Dolby Atmos to customize your audio levels and quality is superb. The headset fits larger heads well, and the ear cups fabric is comfortable. It doesn’t feel too foamy or uncomfortable like mean other cheaper options. It feels comparable to Astro headsets ear cups I’ve had before (A20, A40, & A50).One other problem I have is with the volume control. It is hard to adjust to reach and adjust when wearing the headset. Feels like the control should have been put at the bottom, instead of near the top and on the inside. I usually have to take off the headset to adjust the volume.

Audio good, Build Quality & Microphone Bad
Audio quality is good, however the build quality and forward thinking isn’t quite there. As an open back headset the audio bleeds through to the microphone even around 30% volume so you’ll need to find a software solution for that. On top of that, my headset snapped open where the headset extends into the plastic while putting them on this morning. The plastic encasing broke open from the inside. I take good care of my equipment and my headsets almost always die from wear and tear and not from damage, so this seems like a THEM problem.Model: Virtuoso Pro wiredGeneral use: Work, gaming & discord averaging 12 hours a day.Headset survived: 1 month and 10 days.I will be avoiding Corsair in the future. For $140 I expect to get at minimum 2 years out of my headset minimum.Huge miss.

Great sound, just need to turn up the volume.
I have the wired Pro version, it sounds pretty good, but you have to push them to 70 or 80 percent. The bass is good for open back. The mids and high sound muffled a little. The headset shines at higher power, amp or EQed.Comfortable, nope the clamping is too tight. Thats easy to fix, just let it clamp onovernight on a shoe box. The mic on it is clear, but the wire can cause noise from rubbing your shirt. Overall great sounding set.

    Superb gaming headset
I can walk outside wearing these and still have clear sound. If can connect to my phone and PC with no issues. They are cordless and I only use the cord to charge them up. The mic is amazing

Cheap plastic headband. Broke at 1-year.
Broke just over a year of normal use, not worth the $150+ price tag. Cushions are cheap and worn. The band at the top is made of cheap plastic. It snapped when putting the headphones on like normal. Will be looking elsewhere for my next pair. Extremely disappointed at this price range. 2 stars because the sound quality was great and they were comfortable, love the open back design for gaming and the mic was crisp. Poor build quality and design. The cushion at the top also came loose near the break and is worn down from normal wear. I just can’t believe how easily they snapped.

I have around 16 years of audio production and engineering history within my personal life. I used to own a pair of Sennheiser HD 700’s (RIP), I currently own a pair of Apple Airpods Max; and now these. So I think I can, humbly, say that I know a tiny bit on these topics.Upon opening the box, the packaging is great and includes everything you might need along with an excellent carry-case. The headphones are light and seem really well built, with premium materials. One of my biggest concerns when buying headphones is clamping force (because unfortunately, I wear glasses). I was pleasantly surprised that they have significantly less clamping force than the Apple Airpods Max. This is absolutely great because it doesn’t squish my head like a vice. I tried using a custom ear cup set by “Wicked Cushions” that were thicker, which was a bit too harsh on the ears with additional clamping, so I replaced them back to the stock cups. The quality is mid-tier out of the box – not great; Not until you get into iCue or activate Dolby Atmos. You do this by going into Dolby Access and then customize your own EQ, and raise the low+high end frequencies. At that point, they sound great. The wireless connection is great; the dual-wireless connection is even greater. I absolutely love being able to chat with my friends on Discord while playing on my PS5, or being able to answer my phone at the same time. It’s a feature I never knew I needed and now that I have it, I’m not sure I’d want to go without it.The battery life seems good; I’ve been able to get whole working days without needing to critically charge them.Would I recommend these? Absolutely. Would I pay $300 for them? It’s a lot of money and there are other options out there that are just as competitive. I really do like these.

After reviewing more than 8 gaming headset I closed down to Virtuosos XT due to the following reasons1) I did not want to pay hell amount of money for a plastic product. The built quality is really good2) It has all the connections needed, USB, Bluetooth and Wired, one headset for all purpose3) Not just a gaming headset, it can be used for daily music and office use too4) The mic is detachable and is of exceptionally good quality and sound5) comes with pouch to keep it safe6) not too heavy not too light does not cause a headache like other heavier headphonesOnly drawback I found was the earpads, I had to get aftermarket WC gel infused as the ones provided are leather or artificial leather not sure but not padded enough and does not feel comfortable
