    I’ve been putting off my review of this air fryer until I had a chance to really check it out.First off it was a question if my wife would allow me to give it permanent counter space because it does have a rather large footprint. So, to prove its worth I have used it to bake, roast, air fry and even proof dough and have only turned the regular oven on once since we got it.What’s to like. Modes, air fry, bake, broil, toast, dehydrate, warm etc. It heats up quickly and is ready to go in a couple of minutes. I can bake something ahead of time then set it to a keep warm temperature of 150 degrees to hold until the rest of dinner is ready. I can set it to 80 degrees to proof pizza dough. It also does a nice job of toasting buns that don’t fit in the toaster.It comes with a lot of cooking surfaces like the air fryer basket, a standard rack, a casserole pan with divider, a griddle and a grill pan. There is also an easily removable crumb catcher at the bottom.It has now earned a spot on the kitchen counter as you can see, now a couple of things that could be improved. The light, nice and bright comes on when you open the door, great but when you are cooking and activate it, it only stays on for about 30 seconds fine for a quick check but if you are broiling it would be nice to be able to keep it on. Second gripe you have to scroll through the cooking types rather than them being individual buttons. Finally, the seal at the bottom can collect crumbs and needs to be cleaned occasionally.Verdict, I love it.

    Highlights:~ Not your basic “toaster oven or air fryer”~ Very large capacity to cook a variety of items~ Sleek, updated design~ Can replace a few different appliances (i.e. regular air fryer, toaster, electric grill)~ Comes with different pans for different cooking uses~ Able to cook different items at the same time~ Inside design makes it easier to cleanLowlights:~ It’s pricey – but it’s also worth it~ Need a decent space to either store it or keep it on the counter~ Light function doesn’t last as long as I would prefer~ Have to use the probe in order to get the settings for “food select”Overall:This is an excellent choice. Cuisinart in general makes wonderful appliances so I was amazed at the opportunity to try this one, we also really needed a new air fryer. I have thoroughly tried it over the past couple of days and took a quick video to show some of the items I made.ThoughI messed up the turkey because I didn’t realize you had to insert the probe to get the setting for “poultry” so I’ll have to do it properly the next time. Everything else worked really well including reheating wings and a piece of fish, making “ground tofu” was super easy and fast – I was very impressed with that result. The roasted butternut squash cooked faster than I expected. I even tried making a small lasagna dish, it cooked evenly and quickly on the regular bake setting. Last but not least, I tested making a small cake and it was okay but that’s probably the only item I will not make in this air fryer and will use a regular oven instead but the results weren’t bad at all so I think next time I’ll try the six cupcake space pan instead to compare the difference.Pressing the light button to check on the items in the oven doesn’t last long. I wish it lasted a little longer but overall it’s not a huge deal.It’s definitely pricey but it’s also worth it because you essentially don’t need a bunch of other appliances such as a regular toaster and air fryer. Plus the way it’s designed it holds a lot more than the average air fryer and you can cook multiple items at once because it’s larger than a regular toaster oven or air fryer.
