The door has a child lock that requires an additional step to open (which I’m not crazy about) but not a big hinderence. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

    Why did you pick this product vs others?:Looks great, but if you cook a potato it turns off and the microwave get hot. I think the steam from the potato. I bought it to do potatoes. So I wasted my money. I have to use the oven so I’m still in the same place I was before.

    We’ve only had this microwave for about 5 weeks, and it’s already defective. The “Cancel” button is stuck in and no longer works, which makes it really inconvenient to use. For an appliance that’s supposed to last years, this is incredibly disappointing.The microwave itself seemed fine at first, but the build quality clearly isn’t there. A control panel button should not fail this quickly under normal, everyday use. It makes me question the overall durability of the unit and whether other parts will start breaking down just as fast.For the price, I expected something reliable. Instead, I’m left with a microwave that’s frustrating to operate and feels like a waste of money. Save yourself the hassle and choose a different brand.
