    Decent endoscope…and affordable
    Why did you pick this product vs others?:Dual Lens Endoscope Camera with Light: Bought this to inspect a curved exhaust vent for my range hood. The dual camera setup (front and side views) works well. It’s easy to switch back and forth between cameras.  I found that very helpful.  You can see in the video at first I was using the front camera but because of the curve I the vent,  the front camera was pushing up against the side of the vent. I switched to the side camera and that gave me the view that I needed. If you are trying to decide between single or dual lens, definitely get the dual lens!Android app is easy to use.Long cable gives plenty of reach. Decent image qualitySimple photo/video capture. Light provides good illumination.Minor note: Takes a few tries to navigate curves.Very satisfied with this purchase – would definitely recommend!

    Does the job, no downsides
    Easy to use – just get the Android app, plug in to the USB port, and it works!I used it to see inside the bell housing of a manual transmission/clutch of my old Jeep, and the hardest part was getting used to the direction of the view. With the good light from the tiny ring of LEDs around the camera, I was able to easily take still pictures that showed exactly what was happening in there. I haven’t had the opportunity to use it elsewhere but it served the purpose I needed it to.It’s now an integral part of my tool kit!

    Handy tool for my repair
    I bought this to make a repair on the underside of the top of my acoustic guitar, which is literally impossible to see through the sound hole and I didn’t feel like working with mirrors so I decided to give this a shot before heading to a luthier for an expensive repair. The fiber optic wire is rigid enough to be able to bend into a position without it moving, which came in handy once it came time to navigate my pipette of wood glue around underneath to apply it. The light is decently bright but works best a couple inches away from a subject. Even just a bit further than that will make the image dim even with the light on full brightness. I think the light could be brighter. As far as image quality, it’s also decent. It’s not 4K or anything but for the applications most people will be using this for, I don’t think it needs to be. It served well enough for me to make my repair. I know the image I included is difficult to make out what you’re looking at unless you’re familiar with an acoustic guitar. I included it more so you can see the image resolution. I did not find the iOS app to be buggy or glitchy like some people did l. It worked flawlessly the entire time I had it open to do the repair. For the money, it eliminated a lot of headache of working blindly so its money well spent.

    Easy to use with good image quality
    This endoscope exceeded my expectations. It came well packaged with accessories and adapters for different phones or tablets. Downloading the required app for my Samsung Galaxy Phone was fast and simple. The app provides the features of switching between the front and side lense, taking photos or videos, as well as creating albums. The image quality is quite good with a deep range of focus and the adjustable LED lighting allows you to optimize the illumination to get a good view of items in dark areas, such as air vents. I purchased this originally to inspect the roof in my attic after a leak repair. As the leak already provided a small hole in my ceiling, I was able to insert the camera and view all of the newly replaced wood sheathing for any signs of water intrusion without having to crawl through the attic. The stiffness of the cable allowed me to extend the camera about 4 feet or so without it flopping over. As I do all of my own auto and home repairs I am sure this will get a lot of use. I highly recommend it for anyone needing to peer into dark hidden spaces.

    Worked, but app is buggy
    The camera seems to be decent and worked for the project I needed it for. These typically don’t last a long time, so I’m not sure how it will hold up over time, but there are no indicators at this time to suggest it won’t. My only complaint is with the app. It’s kind of buggy and would disconnect at times. It actually seemed to work better on an iPhone 10 than it did on a 12, but that could be coincidence. The picture quality was good enough, and I really wasn’t expecting much else for this price point.The app gets very low ratings in the App Store, so I don’t think I’m the only person to have these issues. There’s also the question of what exactly the app is doing when running, but I think that’s the same across all manufactures for these imported devices. So far, I haven’t had any indications of malware, but I’m also quick to remove these applications as soon as I’m done using the device.From my perspective, these are good for short-term, essentially single-use, and that’s the perspective from which I’ve reviewed this. Who knows if the app will still be available the next time I need it, but again, my experience is that these don’t have longevity, so I’ll probably just but another one when I need it next.
