    Nice looking, small, quiet
Bought this to replace a comparable size Amazon basics Alexa enabled microwave that started to throw sparks.Yes it’s small sized and it’s 700 watts. I remember the first microwave my parents had that took 2 people to carry and needed it’s own stand. This is the perfect size to sit on the counter in my small kitchen. Most cooking instructions are for a 1000 watt, just add an extra minute. I’ve only had this for 5 months. So far so good. I hope it lasts. The biggest annoyance was that safety lock. Even reading the instructions, it was a pain to disable. Not sure why it has to ship already on. I understand it’s mandatory now to have but as long as it’s able to be turned on it shouldn’t come already on. It makes it harder for older folks.

Not content with the function, and concerned
Microwave review.I know I am past the return option- I waited to open it and was out of town for a while, so that’s fair. But I believe it is important to put out my experience for anyone else’s information.Early on I wrote that I was concerned the even just heating up my coffee, the far back right corner of the top of the microwave would feel warm- no where else. Be aware, I have allowed much more that the required space all around the appliance. The response was that this was normal. Previous microwave must have been better insulated because that never happened, and it was a much higher power.A few time now I have encountered an issue putting in timed cook- I’ll start hitting numbers and the screen will just light up “food”. The first time this happened, it took a couple of times to get the input to clear. Had to totally back out (hitting pause/clear more than once). Most recently I cooked some ears of corn wrapped loosely in parchment (have done this before), had to break up the batch so didn’t do them all at once. Took out the first ones and put the next in as soon as oven was emptied. They cooked fine, but this time the entire top of the oven was warm. That is concerning- the first time it was three minutes for each of 5, so 15 minutes at full power. The second time it was 10 minutes- certainly nothing excessive.I called about a possible cookbook at one point, and was told you don’t supply one anymore, just the basic user’s manual, and that totally understandable, but there is no real chart for various foods and quantities, just the marked buttons for minimal help. All and all a disappointing result, and not comfortable trying to use the unit for the full range of possibilities it should have.Planning on buying someone else’s soon, but not even comfortable donating this for anything but absolute minimal use.Not a satisfied customer.G.C.Hirsch

    Nice small footprint
I made this purchase concerned about the small size but I needed the shallow depth because it sits in an overhead cabinet nook. Which used to sit a very large GE profile perfectly. Unfortunately they stopped making the shallow depth profile in a plain regular microwave, for some reason they more than triple the price and added wi-Fi, why does a microwave need Wi-Fi? So I purchase this little guy put it in the large opening and absolutely love it. The excess Space in the opening I purchased a small shelf and use that space for my coffee pot and K cups because the microwave sits above my coffee nook. I’m going to make sure I keep up with the cleaning because I saw a few reviews where people mentioned rust inside. For me this microwave works fine because basically I only heat up soup or reheat coffee that is about the most use I give my microwave anymore since I purchased an awesome air fryer that does everything but wash dishes. I saw complaints about the power being not strong enough, but I have found that I use the same power levels as I used to use on my big GE profile to cook soups and heat coffee, this may be because my old profile lost power over the 20 years that I owned it. I also discovered that you can fit a full 11 inch plate inside this little guy if you want to reheat a plate of food, just need to tilt the plate on a small angle fits inside with plenty of room. I would think this microwave because of the small footprint would be fantastic for a college dorm set up. Another happy purchase.

Best compact microwave on the market!
I needed a microwave with very specific dimensions as I was putting it into one of my cabinets. It couldn’t surpass 13 inches deep and it had to have a silent mode and it had to shut very quietly so my neighbors couldn’t hear it. It turns out that most compact microwaves aren’t made that wellI first bought Commercial Chef. I thought it was really cute, but it felt a little cheap and it didn’t have a silent mode. Closing it was very loud too. That silent mode was very important to me.I then bought Comfee. I loved how it looked, and I loved how it closed very very quiet quietly. It didn’t have a silent mode and the biggest problem was that it got so wet inside. Literally microwaving anything would make it soaking wet inside. It also had a weird child lock that you couldn’t deactivate.GE was about $40 more than the other ones, but I was already exhausted from having to return to and decided to try one more time. I had GE before but not for a compact microwave. It ended up being perfect. Not only did it fit perfectly, but it was silent, and it had a child lock that you could deactivate. It doesn’t close quietly unless you learn to close it quietly. I figured out a way to push the button and close it where it’s practically silent when you close it. The best part was that it’s very dry inside. It has an internal fan and it’s just so much better Made than the other ones.I would 100% recommend this microwave if you need a compact microwave. I think it’s worth the extra money and it’ll last a lot longer

    Water builtup
Child safety lock is a nuisance. Ive believe there’s a defect. I’ve noticed over time after microwaving, the moisture is trapped causing water buildup under the turntable plate. This creates extra work to soak up microwave. The interior paint is coming off because of the wetness from the water.
