    A good hose should not leak. This one does not leak. The gasket is a good quality and the hose quality if more than adequate for the job. I used it to flush out my tankless water heater, and it did the job above my expectations!The price was right, and did the job! Bongo Bob

    Don’t wait until you have a leak!!! These are good quality hoses at a good price.
    According to the manufacturers it is important that the rubber washer hoses be replaced every 3 to 5 years, and sooner should there be visible cracking or leaking. These are good quality hoses at a reasonable price, comparable to OEM and with the standard fittings. What makes them even better is that they are Made in the USA. I considered steel flex replacement hoses which if good quality usually have a life expectancy of around 10 years but settled on these GE rubber hoses.Should your old hoses still appear to be in good shape you can re-purpose them for other uses — I used one as a dehumidifier drain hose.

    These hoses are far better than many of the other options out there. Don’t be fooled by the cheap hoses that they cover with a plastic weave that looks like stainless that does absolutely nothing for performance. These hoses have it where it counts. Fittings are really good … and the hose is high quality. I recommend these hoses.

    I purchased these to do an annual cleaning of my tankless hot water heater. These worked out great as they connected right up to the clean out valves and my sump pump. I purchased these as opposed to a garden hose because there are 2 female ends, which is what I needed and a standard garden hose wouldn’t work because one end is female and the other is male.
