Fixed a slow/no water flow issue in 20yo fridge
Did a bunch on research to fix a slow water flow from my GE fridge water dispenser. Swapped the water filter first since it was due but that didn’t fix the low flow issue. A couple youtube videos later and I concluded my issues were due to a faulty water valve. Was glad to see it cheaper on Amazon and it was prime available. So 2 days later this was on my door step and within less than an hour my water flow was back to normal! Install was pretty straight forward and was literally plug and play. I went ahead and cleaned the back fridge vents of dust which was due anyway and should be done at least once or twice a year to keep your fridge running efficiently. All in all worth the cost to keep my 20year old fridge going! Old school GE quality for sure!

Loved the plastic bag it shipped in
Recieved in plastic bag which I’m good with. I see a lot complain bout being shipped in plastic bag with no box but how do you think the parts guy gets it? The same exact way he sent it to you. He probably got a huge box with 50 of them stuffed in the box all in bags. Be happy the part works and resolved your issues as it has done for mine fresh out of the plastic bag. Thanks for the great part for my repair.

    Perfect fix
No water, no problem. This did the trick. Easy to install, worked perfectly. Don’t be put off that came in a plastic bag (in an Amazon box). It’s just a replacement part. By doing it myself I saved $$$
