    Great Vacuum!
    I am kind of a vacuum snob; and have used the best in my lifetime of cleaning: Miele, Rainbow, Dyson, Shark, Hoover, etc. and I have also used the worst when I was a poor student. I have also used all kinds: cannister, upright, handheld, and even those old kind of inflatable bag vacuums that my Grannie had. You really have to get a vacuum based upon how you are going to use it and what you clean most. I bought this for my Dad’s condo that has a bit of tile but is mostly a long shag type carpet throughout. He also had a short hair dog that shed more than any dog I have ever seen AND the town he lives in is famous for its winds and white powdery dust that coats everything. Given this, a bagless cannister just couldn’t handle the fur and dust. I went with this vacuum based upon reviews and the fact that it was going to need to be able to suck up both fur and dust, which is a bagless type vacuum like Dyson’s worst enemy when it comes to plugging up the filters and seriously decreasing suction. My poor Dad had bought a cheap little Hoover upright before this that would plug up within 5 minutes of use, and then start spitting out the dirt and fur back onto the carpets )-: That was trash- if you spend $60 on a new vacuum don’t expect anything from it. But I don’t think that you need to spend $1,000 either- that is crazy! This vacuum stood up to about (I am serious) 6 solid hours of vacuuming a year’s worth of dirt and fur. No overheated motor, no plugs, no decreased suction, and no plumes of dust and dirt as you try to shake out the cannister into the trash. I did go through 3!!! vacuum bags though. I really love a feature it has that tells you when there is too much long hair or string on the beater bar – a light turns red which allows you to clean it and then you don’t have to guess if it is jammed up or not. I also like that it has lights that come on to tell you how full the vacuum bag is getting and then when it is full so no guessing. The vacuum is very light to push and has a great motion over thick/loopy carpets. But it does get heavier as the vacuum bag fills, though nowhere near as heavy as my Dyson. My only con for this machine was that the cord would position itself behind the tools that are on the back of the cannister and pop them off as you vacuumed, but honestly, this was not a deal breaker for me- I just kept the tools somewhere else while I worked. I also loved how easy it was to switch it to a hand-held to vacuum up pet fur off of couches or dust of baseboards, actually much quicker than my Dyson. It does have a short hose when you do this, and when I was reaching up high to vacuum blinds, the machine would tip itself over due to the short hose, I simply laid it on its side when I did this- problem solved. Changing out the vacuum bags was easy, too. I was able to do it without reading the instructions (-; Overall- I am super impressed with the handling, suction, quality and ability to hold up to really tough dirty conditions that I took it through.

    I’ve had this vacuum for about a month and I love it. I couldn’t recommend it any higher. You won’t ever want anything more.The most important aspect is that it’s a SEALED SYSTEM. Filtration is important. Go on YouTube and watch some of the lab tests on those cheap bagless vacuums from Walmart. They leak and spray dust everywhere. Not with the Kenmore Intuition. I checked this myself and let me tell you, there’s nothing leaking out of this thing. In one proper test it was observed that the air it blows out is actually cleaner than the air in the room.You just have to make sure that you maintain it which isn’t hard to do since the HEPA bag catches almost everything. There are two filters. One you can wash with soap and water once in a while. Mine is still looking brand new after vacuuming once a week. The other is another HEPA filter which needs to be replaced only about once a year.It’s lightweight, compact, and it swivels which is a feature I didn’t know I needed but couldn’t live without now. It has a meter telling you when the bag needs to be changed. That’s something you don’t see too much. It does both carpet and hardwood floors. It’s designed so well that it even has longevity features like turning the roller off automatically when it’s powered on but standing upright so you’re not grinding the belt unnecessarily in a stationary position.The bags are easily replaced with the push of a button but I recommend you do it outside or release it inside of a trash bag. The bags aren’t super expensive.A lot of thought and details when into the design. It shows. Well worth the money. This is the superior choice in vacuuming. Go for it. You’ll love it too, I promise.

    Great lightweight vacuum
    My canister vacuum lost suction so I decided to purchase an inexpensive bagged vacuum cleaner after reading several vacuum cleaner forums. After reading many reviews I chose this one, the Kenmore intuition, because it’s priced right, lightweight and offers versatile cleaning for multiple surfaces and was rated well for pet hair removal. I received the vacuum today and the setup was extremely easy. I was very impressed with the power and suction of this vacuum. It is an incredibly long cord which is fantastic. I can cover a large area without frequently stopping to change outlets.So far there are a couple things I don’t love about it which caused me to rate it 4 stars instead of 5.1.) the attachments can’t be stored with the vacuum. There are spaces for them but they fall off easily.2.) I filled one bag my first day using this vacuum. This has me a little concerned because I run a robot vacuum daily and also vacuum with my canister vacuum weekly. This could be due to the fact that my last vacuum lost suction and wasn’t working as great as I thought it was. However, between the two I don’t think I should have filled a bag with each use. If this was a rare situation I’ll update my review accordingly.3.) While I haven’t had issues with any pieces breaking, I worry about durability after using it, some parts feel flimsy. I ended up purchasing an extended warrantee after using it as a precautionary measure. I don’t typically do this, but I felt like I needed to with this vacuum.

    Why is this product allowed to be sold for the UK market without any notice or warning?!!!The plug is for US but that’s not the major issue here, the voltage is 120V! If you plug this in the UK with an adoptor, you would blow up thhe vacuum cleaner! Dangerous!Now I have to make a trip to drop it off to a collection centre, what a waste of time!!!!

    I haven’t written a review on Amazon before, but I felt I needed to share how much I love this vacuum! It has great suction power but isn’t too heavy. The swivel action works really well so it’s easy to turn corners and go under furniture. The fact that you can use this vacuum on hard floors and carpets with the push of a button is so great too; you can turn off the brush roll so you don’t damage your hard floors.For context, our house has 3 carpeted bedrooms upstairs and hard floor in the living room/halls. This vacuum makes my life so much easier. I’ve only had the vacuum for less than a week but I’m obsessed! I would absolutely recommend this vacuum to anyone who has a similar house situation and is looking for an effective vacuum. 10/10!

    Seemed like a well built vacuum cleaner but the plug was a US two pin connector that I had no adapter for, never even got to try it, shame, looks good.
