    I have had no good luck when it comes to vacuums, so when my sister came to visit she decided that I needed one of these and I’m going to tell you I’ve never been so excited about a vacuum in my life. Really good stuff and I have a Rainbow!However, anybody that’s ever had a rainbow knows they’re clunky and cumbersome and you use them for the deep clean but not for the day-to-day. Well anyway, so I had this vacuum about a year and then suddenly the it broke! Like the powerhead separated from the base. I don’t know if it’s because I abused it (which is possible…) I’m not exactly gentle with the equipment, however, I love this vacuum so much that I bought another one straight away, and promised to be gentler.I do not like to see the dust collected in the bin. That’s a gag thing for me, though apparently it’s all the rage now, and something others appear to enjoy. Personally, I felt very good about throwing a bag away back when vacuums had them. I used to buy them by the case so I could.This vacuum is lightweight and flexible and durable (other than possibly what I did to it, which I still don’t know, but I somehow broke it,) but I think it probably had to do with a little heavy-handedness. So, if I bought another one straight away you know for a fact it’s a good value for the money. You are actually going to enjoy vacuuming with this vacuum. I wish it were cordless because I hate cords and they always trip me up but there you have it

    Best Vacuum I’ve Had
    Update Review: this vacuum is still the best vacuum I have had in years. I have had robovacs, uprights, stick vacs, Bissell, Shark, Hoover and they’ve all failed me rather quickly. This vacuum seems to truly be allergen sealed and removes dirt deep in the carpet. When I go to push the realease button to empty the dirty I don’t touch a bunch of dirt that escaped the seal. The suction on hardfloors could use to be a bit stronger (sometimes bigger rocks brought in from the bottom of our shoes have to be gone over 2 or 3 times), but the suction on carpet is awesome.Cons: The hose wrap system makes no sense and the only way I can keep the hose from falling off the vacuum and dragging on the floor while I vacuum is to sling it across the front. I hate the 3 in 1 tool with a passion; if you are using the hair remover tool and use pressure it pops right off the “button” that is supposed to keep it in place. They should have created a more secure configuration by now, the tool has been around for years.Original Review (5star): This vacuum seems, so far, to be the best one I’ve purchased in years. I hate writing reviews so soon after a purchase, but this one does seem worth it (again, so far). The brush fluffs the carpet and the filter really catches the dirt. The dust cup is completely washable and the power cord is long enough for me to all but one room of the house.

    Bought allot of vacuums in my life. Everything you worry about with a vacuum is solved in this one. It does all the tricks and then some. If you watch the videos on this one you’ll see just how vast the array mechanisms on this Kenmore really are.Favorite features, self propel. Yeah, just like the lawn mowers that move forward for you, this Kenmore does the same because of the rotating bar and the suction strength. It really deep cleans. Second favorite feature is the swivel action. It can turn on a dime without allot of back and forth to get where you want. One turn of your wrist and it heads the opposite direction. The length of the hose is perfect! the ability to use the items that come with the machine, are easy to attach and use. The filter is perfect, oh and there’s this incredible light that stays green to let you know about your filter. It will tell you when the filter is so full that it’s slowing down the suction power. Throw the filter in the wash or hand wash, let it dry and you’re back in business. With this Kenmore you’ve bought a machine that finally takes care of YOU. I’m done babying and working on a machine that I fight the cord, the machine, or the low suction.If you’ve got a non-carpeted area, you can walk right into that room with the machine on full blast, it won’t shoot the particles out the back. The cord let me move into a third room and I was so happy to be done with the chore no one likes. Sweat factor 1 to 10, about a 3. Don’t look any further, this is one.Tell ’em Boss sent you.

    Great vacuum for the price!
    I purchased this vacuum in 2022 and was so impressed with its performance that I bought a second one for our upstairs, making me the proud owner of two. The design is excellent—the extra-long cord provides great reach, the dual-speed settings (one for hardwood and one for carpet) work beautifully, it’s self-propelling, swivels easily, and the canisters empty with minimal effort. The list of benefits goes on.Unfortunately, this week, one of the vacuums experienced a major issue: the head detached (broke the plastic connection) completely from the body at a stress point where the wiring is housed. My husband attempted to repair it, but it would not hold. As a result, I salvaged what I could, including the long cord, and had to let it go. Despite this setback, I immediately purchased a replacement because I value this vacuum so highly. At 65 years old, and after owning many vacuums, I can confidently say this is by far the best I’ve ever used.My only suggestion to other users is to be gentle when pressing your foot on the head while pulling the handle down, as this may help prevent premature wear at the stress point.

    My old vacuum broke (50$ Bissell that worked great for me for years) and I decided it was time to invest a bit more into a new one. I did a lot of research reading reviews on multiple brands and styles. I decided to go with this one because the reviews were great – even the bad ones can only complain the suction is too much for their liking. In my eyes that wasn’t a bad review, I think people are just improperly using their vacuum. There is even a piece that you swivel to control suction power. Not to mention this is the first vacuum to actually work on hard floor without just spinning the dirt everywhere. I am blown away after one use. The attached picture is what this picked up from my front entrance area rug. It looks like I haven’t even been vacuuming that’s how much stuff came out. Very pleased with this purchase and I feel the price is incredible for the power you get. There are reviews stating its hard to maneuver and I’m unsure why they felt this way as I find it glides with such ease and moves very smoothly. If anything changes with more use I will be sure to update my review. For now though, extremely blown away!

    Very maneuverable! Good suction, it cleans carpets better than my permanently installed Kenmore. CON: not height adjustable for different thickness of carpets. CON: The cord has an awful automatic self-twisting. It can’t be straightened. 2 stars off because if that.
