Introducing the LifeStraw Community: A High-Capacity Water Purifier for a Healthier Tomorrow

Access to clean drinking water is a fundamental human right, yet millions of people around the world struggle to obtain it. Contaminated water sources, lack of infrastructure, and inadequate treatment methods are just a few of the challenges that communities face in their quest for safe drinking water. To address this pressing issue, Vestergaard, a leading manufacturer of water purification systems, has developed the LifeStraw Community, a high-capacity water purifier designed to provide clean drinking water for entire communities.

What is the LifeStraw Community?

The LifeStraw Community is a high-volume water purifier that can filter up to 12,000 liters of water per day, making it an ideal solution for schools, hospitals, clinics, and community centers. This innovative system uses a combination of hollow fiber membrane technology and activated carbon to remove 99.99% of bacteria, viruses, and parasites from contaminated water sources, including rivers, lakes, and wells. The result is clean, safe drinking water that meets or exceeds international standards for water quality.

No damage and a clean unit
I volunteer out in the forest and knew and respected the company name but I was concerned about the reviews claiming damage, upon opening I found no damage and a very clean unit. I purchased this unit for a homeless encampment several miles from my home and the river there had turned nasty for some reason. I am hoping this will reduce the illness running thru the camp. Will check back in after a month or two

    DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!
LifeStraw Community High-Capacity Water Purifier is horrible, I have been out of town and could not put the water purifier together until today, and supposedly it cannot be returned. The main water container is split and several parts are broken. It has scuffs on it and looks like it has been used before I bought it. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! I can’t get any help and there are no instruction for this broken product. I’m sorry to say it is a Total piece of trash.

Things are not always as they seem, maybe 🤔
Just want to clear something up. I bought my LifeStraw without reading the reviews because I liked that it worked without electricity, the amount of water it filtered and held, what it filtered out and they use it in filtering out the dirtiest waters. I did notice it looked a little dusty, and thought it was used also. My thinking know that I have looked at other people reviews is that LifeStraw is not packaged in the cleanest place. Maybe it’s a warehouse will thousands of parts everywhere. Also it’s made in China. I think of the children or mother that might have boxed up the parts. With all that said, I hope it works as well as it is supposed to, I will be using this for emergencies. God bless everyone 🙏

    Peace of mind product
With all the power outtages and natural disasters happening, things can get a little scary when it comes to taking care of your family. So we got one of these to make sure we’d have access to drinkable water in case of an emergency. A great addition might be water storage barrels if you don’t have access to water you can filter. It’s definitely given peace of mind knowing we have this! It’s a little tricky to get put together, but the directions are helpful!

    seems to work fine
it’s big! it went together well. already tested it out in my lake / pond water and the water came out pretty clear and drinkable in an emergency situation. I compacted it down as much ad i could for storage and hopefully i never have to use it but if i do i have it to share with my neighbors…

Cheap. Broken when we got it.

  7. Animals in the house

    Arrived broken
    Received with a broken stand.

  8. Brian Ages

    Entire family security
This is the BEST family (neighborhood) water system out there. No power needed, no pump needed, just gravity. The unit arrived in perfect condition and the instructions are simple. The engineering is perfect for a disaster support device.
