    Clean Sparkling Water
    I love my LifeStraw counter top filter. My association seems to have ongoing issues with our well water and I am not comfortable drinking it from the tap, cooking or making coffee. After much research on counter top filters I landed on this one. Life Straw provides clean drinking water around the world in third world nations. So I decided on this for my water issues. The water tastes good, is crystal clear, has no tap water odor and makes beautiful clear ice!! This is my second one. And the absolute only complaint I have with this product is the spigot. It uses a spring which does get weak after a year or so and will begin to drip. If they would fix that one issue, it’s almost perfect!! I am actually looking at their bigger one for my next one!

    Spout leaking but they replaced it for free
    Update: I contacted customer service and they responded quickly—they’re sending a new unit to replace the leaking one. Excellent service and great tasting water, updated to 5 stars.Original post: I was so excited to get this and as soon as I rinsed it off and filled it with water, the plastic around the spout is leaking. It’s behind the valve, it seems, so it may just be faulty manufacturing? Water is slowly dripping from the bottom of the plastic piece that wraps around the spout. Idk, I might try the glass pitcher instead, major bummer. I love the concept and the water tastes great, but a redesign seems like it would help with quality of overall product.

    Perfect storage in refrigerator
    Nice pitcher. Filtration seems to work very well- my FL water doesn’t smell or taste like what comes from the faucet anymore. After the first few fills, it filters much faster. Love the design and how it fits the fridge. I don’t understand the reviews that complain about how quickly the water bottle fills up- it’s pretty fast. Love this!! I have the glass pitcher too—- it is great but not for higher water consumption, this is much better.

    DO NOT BUY – After some use – IT LEAKS!!!
    I purchased this item as I could taste chemicals in my water and wanted something larger than a Brita pitcher. . At first I was incredibly pleased with this purchase as the water tasted great. The filter definitely worked. The container was a bit bigger than I thought it would be, but I managed to make space in my refrigerator so I could keep the water cold in there and remove the container to drain the contents each morning for my pot of coffee.However, after about 7 months, I noticed water dripping a bit. Over the following weeks, it increased. I did not realize it was so bad until I opened the vegetable drawer directly below the shelf on which this unit sat, and it was full of about 2 cups of water!! SO DISAPPOINTING!!The way to release the water to flow from the bottom is a spring loaded ‘toggle’ push button. It does not automatically stay open, you must continuously hold it open for the water to flow. After a period of time, the spring wears down. The unit will no longer hold ANY water inside without leaking.I bought extra filters, so I will use it until these are used up, but to use the unit, I have to fill it, and let it sit over the sink to complete the filtering process, then empty the water into another ‘water tight’ container for storage in the refrigerator for use. I would recommend this company redesign the ‘spigot’ to be a turn valve that can stay open without having to keep it pushed open with your finger and toggles completely closed!! Until there are improvements I warn you to stay away!!

    Water tastes great but drips at the spout.
    This is a great filtering system. The water tastes smooth and clear! I bought the 18 cup size and although it’s big it fits my needs. I’m now using the filtered water for cooking as well as drinking water. The materials are sturdy. I took off one point because the spout for water release drips a couple of drops after finishing releasing the water. So I tap it to get the drop out before I slide it back to the back of the counter. It also drips when I pull it forward and beginning to think it may have a defective spout or the design needs updating so it doesn’t drip when the spout lever is closed. It looks great, I bought the pebble color. Value for money is 3.5 because of the drip.

    Water tastes fabulous after being filter with this. And it takes microbes out. At this price.Love the size and narrow full-fridge depth. Lid took a couple weeks to really seat itself fully, considered returning, but it sits fine nowThe spigot is not as convenient as I’d like, not a deal breaker now that I realize there actually IS a little extended part to put a finger behind to gain leverage. I wish they’d made it more prominent, but now that I know it’s there, I have no complaints.Suggestions, though. A link to a video showing a closeup of the spigot, in and out of use, and do something about those lids. Most people would have sent this back.

    Good Tasting Clean it’s Water
    I went from having a first osmosis in the basement that went through my sink in my refrigerator and ice cubes. And I’m temporarily renting so I bought this and I love it. Excellent taste for the water very easy to use very easy to clean and I highly recommend it to anyone who needs to drink clean water instead of tap-water with everything but the kitchen sink in it it also was very easy to fit on your countertop cause it’s narrow which is nice I thought it was a good value for my money

    Although a bit pricey , it works great , holds about 4:5 litres , water tastes great , would recommend and purchase again , filters quite quickly , just need to top up filtration part to ensure the dispenser gets the whole 4:5 , will be used for camping ,off grid where water sources may taste a bit different and are less palatable.
