    Good in almost all rounds
Great form factor. My first foldable phone in the smart phone era, and I love it. It is easy to slide into pocket when folded, and large enough screen to use once unfolded. Battery life is great. The outer screen quality is very good and works well with most of apps, except Authenticator app. It is very nice to have tap pay with Google wallet (and EV charging app, and Google map, and calendar) to work perfectly with the phone folded. Camera is also quite good. We do not have telescoping camera, but I am fine with that. The hinge motion is smooth and steady, and I would not worry about the reliability of the Titanium hinge in 3 years. Motorola phones sync and connect nicely with Lenovo laptops. Although I wrote pros in a short paragraph, these pros are quite important to my usages.A few minor complaints.1. When the phone is charged, either wireless or wired, the phone does get warm. So far I have not found any wireless charger that can charge this phone at 30 Watts, even including Motorola their own website. Then what’s the point of providing 30 Watts wireless charging option in the data sheet?2. The back side of the phone has a suade texture, which is nice. However, the edges and sides are very slippery. In fact, even unfolding the phone needs some focus and efforts to grab the two clamshells. So you will have to have a protection case, just to enhance the grasp, and you will lose the touch of the suede texture. It’s nice to have the texture, but it’s a waste that (I guess) most users will not be enjoying it everyday. The suede texture is not really a bad thing, and I appreciate Motorola to add this aesthetic design feature.3. When the phone is folded, it feels like buttons everywhere on the edges of both sides. It’s almost impossible to not mispress the buttons, whenever I pick the phone up from the table. That’s a luxury complaint because the folded phone is so small and the buttons appear to take more space, although the bottom sizes are just normal.4. I purchased a used-like-new unit, which has an AT&T logo in the starting process and some AT&T bloatware installed. It’s a little bit annoying but not too much as long as I don’t restart the phone. In short the pros overweigh the cons by orders of magnitude. I’m a happy customer.P.S., I am aware that some media complain about 3 years Android updates, as compared to 7 years from other brands. Let’s be realistic — how many of us would plan for 7 years usage of a single smartphone? Even if you do, and even if we do not talk about the realistic lifetime of integrated electronics (which are designed to last less number of years), a smartphone with a movable parts is not the right approach to achieve your goal. The dusts in your pockets will find their way into the moving parts of the hinge. They are not going to damage any titanium metal parts, but the build-ups will cause the motion to be reluctant over time — feeling of the age. Some protection case have a cover around the hinge area, but as long as those covers are not airtight, dust will get in. I’m not worried about 3 years, but 7 years is too much a stretch — remember these are mechanical parts that move numerous times every day without an “oil change” at all.

    Seal broken
I really wanted to try this but the seal was broken. There was a white lable across the box in a clear plastic bag. Returning it.

Revolutionary phone. Flagship mobile phone on the market.
I really like this phone and. It is loaded with a lot of great features. And so far I am quite happy with the purchase but perhaps it would be better to leave review after some time to validate how everything works in bigger time perspective. Over time I’m discovering new features. I love small profile of the phone with ability to plenty of customization in second small screen which offers great resolution. This is a great concept for the phones. Both screens are great. I even recently discovered ability to split large screen into two and run 2 applications simultaneously in unfolded screen. Fast charging battery looks great and hold very well. Still pictures with camera are also great. I haven’t taken yet so much of video. Speakers could be laud as well that in my opinion is great because that provide ability to hear other person over phone on low volume level with and a lot of room to increase volume. One of me shock was then I tried to transfer some pictures to my laptop (Lenovo) using bluetooth (BT) and to my surprise speed of transferring the data subjectively was 3-4 time faster than doing the same with older phone (LG Thinq7). That was nice surprise. I bought phone protector based on silicon and that was great addition but to my surprise this phone doesn’t need additional screen protection and in fact owner will use warranty if he/she will do so. So I’m using only screen protection that came with the phone. If there are any drawbacks or maybe it is too strong word but something that could be better there are two things :- I feel it is a bit pricey. Well, it could be also understood that with so many features this phone present so much value, so even if it feel pricey on my budget still I think it is worthy. But if pricey could be lower it should be absolute leader of the phones regardless of the brand. But this one for Motorola is indeed flagship.- option to add extra microSD card in order to increase space. That one that I have came as 500GB space, it seems a lot but unfortunately for me I can quickly fill this space with data, pics, apps and then gives less room to keep data on the phone. My older phone LG Think7 have ability to add extra microSD card giving almost unlimited space beating a lot of never models (iPhones or Samsung)Other than that I just highly recommended it but that also very much depend from person to person. For me it was perfect fit and I would chose it again if I have to.I’m not afliatd with the brand in anyway, just regular customer and maybe over time I will more flaws but so far I don’t regret of my choice.

Great phone, rather stunning price tag though
This is my first high-end (more than $400) phone. Mostly love it. I wanted a flip phone because my brick phone was constantly threatening to leap out of my hands while I was carrying it along with other stuff. This phone fits in my pocket and there is a lot less worry about loss or damage. I really like being able to take care of business without opening it, using just the back screen. I wish the “AI” button could be remapped to something useful. I avoid mostly anything claiming to be “AI” so I don’t know anything about how that part of the phone works and I’m quite happy about that. The fold is noticeable when you slide your finger over it but it hasn’t gotten worse in the 2 months I’ve had it and it’s quite easy to get used to it where you don’t even feel it. It’s very very fast. The colors are very bright. Things with a black background look great due to the OLED screen. Bluetooth pairing with the Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones works great. Works on AT&T but if you are switching from an old phone consider going to the AT&T store – I tried to get an eSim for it and the person on the other end bolloxed things up so bad at the end of the call neither of my phones was working and I had to make an unexpected trip to town to get it straightened out. Very annoying, AT&T. Battery life so far is one or two days but I don’t tax it or play games or stream movies much (although they do look great). Nobody can claim this is a good value for the money type of phone – it’s an extravagance for those of us who aren’t gazillionaires but this was my reward for beating cancer so foo on anyone who doesn’t think it’s worth it because it is to me.
