   Great piece of mind
   My mother in laws house was very dusty and she was having a lot of issues with it. I got this for her and so far she has been really liking it, with only a few small gotchas. She has noticed so much less dust in the air and it just overall feels like better quality air. It works great and doesn’t add a lot of ambient noise to the room. The one issue she had was that these are cleaned with water, but if you stick the filter back in too wet it will fail to run. I consider this a positive feature to prevent hurting the machine, but just be aware if you get an error after cleaning, it most likely need to dry out a bit. But not having to pay to replace the filters is a huge advantage to having to wait a bit for them to dry out. Super happy with this!

   A buy it for life design – but only one year warranty. Will update with any issues I encounter.
   There aren’t many buy it for life products out there these days. When I opened up the filter and saw it said “replace once every 20 years”, I was stunned – and knew I found a rare example of one.The promise of the Nuwave Forever is that everything is designed to last and be reused – with washable filters, easy cleaning, and effective filtration. And so far, it stands up to that promise with many telltale signs of thoughtful design to back it up. The filters are very easy to access and remove with a back panel, feel very sturdy, and can be washed easily in a sink. The product is designed in the United States and made in France, and was very easy to get up and running immediately. Although it is app-powered, and has smart capabilities, it is not, like many other smart devices, app required. This addresses one of my immediate concerns with any smart device – how long can any smart device possibly last when apps are so fast paced and disposable? The Forever answers this question by making all functionality intuitive and easy to access via the front panel buttons. I also like the light, which quickly tells me what the air quality in the room is like at any given time.The app itself makes it easy to monitor and control the device from afar or across the room, and has a helpful reminder to clean the air filters periodically, as well as a way to reset the filter notification once you’ve cleaned it. If you’re sensitive to noise, like I am, the unit itself does not make a lot of noise, and you can reduce it further by disabling beeps.All of this would be for naught if the unit wasn’t effective – and with an open floor plan, five pets, and two voracious cooks in the house, it has a lot to keep up with. Immediately on starting, the unit noticed the air was only moderate quality, and brought it down to a clean level within the hour. Over the past week, it has kept the house smelling clean and clear without any issue. I know it is working and detecting when the air needs filtration because it goes into high gear when I cook, especially with frying oil. And it truly has noticeably helped with the “oil smell” you get after pan frying your dinner. It is not small, but also not as large as you might expect for such a large coverage area. Mine tucks nicely behind a chair in my living room, and is about two thirds the height of a standard step stool.Whether or not this stands up to the name of Forever is something I’ll only be able to tell with time – but I have to say, no other product I’ve bought in recent history has convinced me it will definitely have a lifespan longer than five years. The zero waste approach they’ve taken is both convenient and successful in terms of usability and maintenance. I don’t have to fill up my trash with old filters, and as someone who has to pay by the bag, that’s a huge deal.The only thing I dislike is that Nuwave only provides a one year warranty for this unit – a surprise given the emphasis on zero waste and quality build. I would have liked to see this be backed by a more reasonable five year warranty given the price. A one year warranty on a $500 product – from a 30 year old company – is quite the risk to put on the customer. But if this pans out as advertised, I think it’s worth every penny and will likely purchase another for my basement. As long as this product does not fail within the next five years, I’ll be happy to maintain the five star rating. And if it doesn’t, you’ll see an update here.

   Your Air Smells Brand Nu
   THIS… Is the Nuwave Forever air purifier… YES that Nuwave! I was a bit skeptical when it came to how they would perform with an air purifier, especially one that touts not needing to have its filter changed every 6 months… man was I wrong. Out of the box, this is a decent sized air purifier and it comes on wheels which I really loved. Setup was easy but required taking the filters out of the plastic and inserting them into the purifier. Something cool about this purifier is that it really focuses on odor elimination, and with 3 dogs, I can confirm that it is more than just some fancy labeling. Moving forward, this purifier does have an app and it is one of the best, snappiest apps I have used. It allows you to easily control the purifier from your phone and get indexes on how good your homes air is. I set my purifier to the max clean setting which will auto adjust up and down depending on the needs of your house. The purifier does have some fun lighting that reflects the quality of your air, and can really ramp up its capacity to circulate air. We have it in our living room that also circulates air into our 2nd story loft and I have no doubt that it is capable. While the purifier can be loud, it is more of a ‘loading’ dose, as it will settle down to a much quieter noise once it has delt with the impure air. Overall, this is a 5 star product and one that I have loved to place and forget about. It is just as effortless as it seems, and has truly improved not only my air quality.. but eliminated any lingering smells from my dogs, cooking and day to day life.

   Novel approach
   This is a pretty big air purifier be aware. I didn’t realize quite how big it was when I ordered it.Functionally this is unlike any air purifier I have, the filters are meant to last forever and are simply rinsed under water when dirty. It uses a series of different filters, including an electrical charged one to help clean the air as it passes through. I could actually hear small schooling noises when I first turned it on coming from the filters like a bug zapper which surprised me.One thing it doesn’t have or do is remove odor, there is no carbon filter in this purifier. That’s a shame because it’d be perfect if it did. Without having a way to remove smells all it does is clean the air, which I can’t really tell how good it’s doing because the sensor says the air is clean already.But the build quality is nice and this brand does well in independent tests so I trust is working

   Worth it!
   This air purifier is powerful, quiet, and highly effective. It covers my large living area easily, and I’ve noticed a significant reduction in dust and allergens. The dual sensors give real time feedback on air quality, which is reassuring. The smart WiFi feature allows me to control it from my phone. The fact that the seven filters are washable is a huge long term cost savings. It removes odors quickly and runs on a low, unobtrusive fan speed most of the time. This is a high quality, feature rich purifier that works exceptionally well.
