  1. Easy assemble

    Great choice
Love my Nuwave oven. First time buying a Nuwave Primo Grill. Have had 3 of the original Nuwaves over the past 10yrs giving them to friends or family when I would move out of state but always buying another. For sure the healthiest and quickest way to cook.

Works for About a Year and Worth Every Penny!!! Absolutely the Best Meat, Pizza maker/reheater and bread crisper in the World!
This is my third nuwave and I have bought my brother 2 nuwaves. Just as advertised they make the most succulent meats. You will not be able to make better meats ANY OTHER WAY. Put it in frozen, sprinkle seasoning every now and then and BAM! wonderful meats every time. It is also the absolute best way to reheat pizza, taquitos and anything you want to make crispy to perfection. We use ours a few times every day. My brother is a sous chef and he uses his at least twice a day. With that amount of usage, the Nuwave will last about 1 year. The last one we bought lasted for a year and a half. I don’t know how long the NuWave Pro Plus will last as this is my first, but I imagine about the same time. Even though it lasts about a year under heavy usage, it is worth it! The first one I had that quit working after a year, I swore to never buy it again. I lasted about a month before I caved. I can’t live without it. It is the best meat, pizza, bread crisper in the world. My mother in law brought Pollo Campero (fast food chicken) from El Salvador (3 hour flight) and it made it like we had eaten it at the restaurant. Totally worth the price every year. Now that I’ve tasted the results, I will never go back! We spend about a thousand dollars at least every 10 years on a good oven for the kitchen. Just think of it like that. This thing pays for itself every year because we use so much less energy to cook with it instead of the oven.

    Nice Oven, Buy One
I received the oven in two days as expected with Prime. The oven was zas advertised, with the amber dome and accessories as expected. After a quick and easy assembly I used the oven to heat some grilled chicken left over from last night. Only took a few minutes to heat and tasted better than using the microwave.I used it a few days later to cook some partially frozen, season chicken that I usually cook in my rotisserie grill. This normally takes about an hour. With this oven, 15 minutes per side and it was fully cook. Moist. Delicious.Clean up was easy. There were some negative comments about cleaning the grills but it isn’t as bad as you might have been lead to believe. Those of us that have cooked on bbq grill and rotisserie grills know that there is some cleanup needed but if done right it isn’t difficult. I soak the grills in hot water for about 30 minutes, then used a stiff nylon brush with soap and water. Clean up in about 3 minutes. Easy. This is a nice unit and I don’t think you will go wrong if you buy one.I will update this review if anything, good or bad occurs with continued use.Additional comments: Aug 14, 2016 I continue to be pleased with the performance of this unit. I am able to cook more, in half the time it took in my rotisserie grill and it tastes just as good. Plus reheating leftovers tastes better than from a microwave and it only takes a few more minutes to reheat. Clean up is easy. The only negative is I have too much food to eat. 🙂

I don’t get the bad reviews.
Keep in mind (look at my other reviews) I’m not some shill, been an Amazon customer for a decade (2006).So I just finished cooking in the NuWave for the first time. I’m in an apartment without a kitchen, so I was looking for a way to cook, as I live in an area where the food is expensive, and you usually can’t get any substantial portion of meat without paying $20-25.. and even then it’s a small meal. I can eat a lot and I also like to workout, so this is pretty important to me.Most people told me to get a hot plate, get a microwave, this and that… but I knew Amazon knew better, so I came on here and saw this item in the toaster / convection oven section being one of the more higher rated… so I thought I would give it a shot.I haven’t done anything too fancy thus far but I did just get done cooking frozen chicken thighs. Now even when I had a kitchen, this was a nightmare situation for someone like me who doesn’t know much about anything… I’d try to put it in the microwave, I’d do the “put it in hot water” deal…most of the time I’d have to leave it in the fridge to unthaw, with obviously created problems… having to remember to pull meat from the freezer maybe 24 hours or more in advance…. or just trying to cook it regardless of whether it’s frozen.. most of the time this was an extremely bad situation. So I bought this guy, and I bought a fridge (with a freezer) and I have it in my little studio with no kitchen. And I gave it a go and I’ll explain what I did, and my thoughts. So I read the instruction manual a bit, and watched some instructional videos… it’s not as nearly complicated as I thought it would be. Basically you have the bottom tray, which basically HAS to be there… and serves to either catch oil from any meat, or serves as a place you can cook things in. There are 2 racks, and then the cover and then the top piece which is the main part that actually cooks everything. Generally for simple meals you’d put chicken / whatever on one of the racks, and just put the cover over, put the top part on and cook it… but for large chickens or when you want to be cooking 2 / 3 rows of things at the time, you use the extender ring. I haven’t used the extender yet.So I pulled out some frozen chicken, put it on the rack, and immediately realized I didn’t wash the components… that’s one of the things you have to do when you get this, is basically lightly wash everything but that top portion. So I did this. Now when I say they’ve made everything simple, I mean it. They have this laminated sheet which has instructions for anything you’d want to cook, both frozen and fresh. So for Frozen chicken thighs, they have 15-17 minutes (each side) on this chart, and even a suggested rack (3″). So I put on the bigger rack, put the thighs down, put the cover over, put the top portion on and spun it clockwise to lock it into place, set it for 17 minutes, and went away. Came back when it buzzed and it was looking pretty good.. so I turned it over, set it again for 17 minutes… and then when it buzzed, let it set for 5-10 minutes (not necessary but I wasn’t in a rush to eat… I don’t like my food too hot).Testing time! So I look at the chicken… it’s crispy… I bite in… and its’ ridiculous juicy. I like to put salt on EVERYTHING… but I didn’t even put salt on this… it kept all the flavors in. I did put a little of lemon flavoring on it though, though it was still good without it. For cleanup, all I have to clean is the tray (with oil that dripped off from the chicken… I still don’t understand how so much oil could drip and it could still have so much flavor), and the rack that I put it on and it’s good for the next meal. This thing is really good man… I just cooked 4 chicken thighs without having to stand near a pot and stove and continuously watch it, without having to use any oil… without excessive smoke / smell going in the air (some smell of the food your cooking is obviously there… this is cooking we’re talking about but it’s minimal compared to a regular stove)… this is pretty amazing. I thought I made a mistake by getting an apartment with no stove, but I honestly don’t think I’d miss it at all now. I can’t wait to start cooking veggies, cooking more meat at a time (I like to cook in bulk, and I like to lift weights and bulk so this is going to be so crucial for me).But now, let’s address the possible bad points. First of all.. this yellow thing is obviously the failure point. What I mean is, is I imagine if you drop this at almost any reasonable height it’s going to crack and you’ll have to buy another one. Am I ok with that? Hell yeah… to me this unit will pay itself off in convenience (and in my case no better alternative) in 2 months… I did see that you can buy replacement domes, so I’m ok with that. The other possible issue that you can easily assess by looking at Amazon reviews is the quality control. These units aren’t going to last you 5 years or whatever. Some people have great experience with it, some people have to return their units like 2 or 3 times. I can’t talk to this as I haven’t run into it but it’s clear that you’re somewhat taking a gamble on this product…. but again we have to really think… is it worth it? For me, it absolutely is worth it. If this machine dies in 5 months, I’ll buy another one without hesitation. But I think it IS important to point that out.All in all, you have to understand the cons (possible fragile cover, the machine isn’t going to last years and years) but if you cook a lot and value supreme convenience, speed, want something that in a lot of cases will cook more delicious meals than a stove, if you don’t have a stove and want something to pick up the slack… then this does the trick. My only message to NuWave would be this: I think you guys can completely replace the need for stoves if you tighten your QC…I think the product could get that popular where a stove isn’t the default for people with apartments, as stoves in an apartment take up space, and are annoying in a lot of ways. But yeah that’s my review… I don’t usually go through and proofread my posts and get them more solid (I usually just rattle off thoughts) but hopefully this is helpful to someone. I only deal with higher rated products on Amazon and this is probably going to be one of my better purchases… I’ll keep you updated if anything happens to it but this is so worth it for now.

I bought this initially to replace a competitor with large glass bowl. I thought it would be lighter and it definitely is. I am happily surprised to find it also is far more efficient than the other model. It does not dry out food and cooks quickly, even from frozen. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a counter top oven.

  6. Don Schwartz

Great product. Very handy for a busy lifestyle. Love the idea of the extender ring.

  7. Whimsies Cuddles – Amazon Customer

    Excellent oven for crafting.

  8. Ashley

Upon arrival the base of the product was damaged which is why we deducted a star. However the product itself is amazing. Meat comes out super juicy as well as vegetables. Definitely worth the purchase if care can be promised through delivery.
