    Broke after a year, but I bought another one because I like it so much
    The auto open feature that opens it when I turn the car off stopped working after a year. But it’s such a great device that I just bought another one. Florida sun can be murder for just about anything, so that function breaking after a brutal summer didn’t shock me. Love this thing.I used some mini black cable clips to run the cable all neat and tidy around the underside of my dash to make it look pretty.

    Exactly what I wanted. Attaches to the vent very securely. The long hook attaches to the vent and then you tighten it down. It doesn’t move unless you move it. It also charges my phone with a one handed operation.

    Wow, this holder is awesome. It closes automatically, charges without overheating, and holds the largest iPhone confidently. My only gripe is the feet that hold the bottom of the phone stick out a little. But I have a slim phone case so this is an excusable offense.

    I love the holding design of this compared to my old one, however I wish that it didn’t stick out so much from the vent. It’s far enough that it shakes while drive because it’s not supported.It also doesn’t have amazing range of motion, I wish I could point it more toward the driver seat.

    Exactly what I needed as my lightning port is broken. It fits snug and maintains its position as you drive, I have had similar holders where the joints would loosen over time, had this for about a month now and it has not moved. Price point is right as well.

    I’m basing my review on the first one I bought. It works so well, I decided to buy another one as 2 cheaper ones I bought stopped working..I open and close that thing so many times a day. It senses the phone and quickly closes on it to hold it in the holder. It charges well and holds decent in the vent. It does fall off of the vent from time to time from the vibration of the car. The cord is long enough to reach either vent in my car, and saves space by being able to use the vent.

    This is a really neat phone charger. I love the concept of being able to set my phone in it and it automatically starts charging.It has been working well so far in the few weeks I’ve had it.I gave it 4 stars because it’s not really a universal hook up to all vents. It takes quite a bit of tweaking to get it to stay upright and not flop over all the time if you have adjustable vents.
