    Exact fit for 80’s Peavey Audition Chorus (6.5” dual speaker)
    The fits perfectly with no modifications whatsoever into the Peavey Audition Chorus cabinet. I was worried about the difference in wattage ratings from the originals but these speakers are a great replacement. The frequency response is similar to the original Peavey 6.5” speakers so no loss there. These are good quality speakers and sound great. Definitely as good if not better than the originals.

    After going thru a set of PRV, Ds18 and CT Sounds. I decided to try these “low budget” speakers, and these sounded way better the and the ones I Had before exept for the CT Sounds. But those dint take the power of the Amp I have, these are loud and clear lots of midbass, i got them hooked up to a Taramps 800.4,

    Loud, Clear, Great Power Handling, Great Efficiency
    After burning about 17 6×9 speakers and about 8 6.5 inch ones I decided to go PRO, and I only wish to have made that choise long time ago, these speakers are LOUD no joke i have them on the doors of my Chevy S10 and i can feel the mids going though my bones, way better sound quality than expected and they play way higher than 7Khz, Great Power Handling! i have spent 80 dollars on speakers that burn after 5 minutes instaling them. You would get way more that what you paid for.Just a comment, the dustcaps are fragile, nothing to worry about the functionality of the speaker but DON’T APPLY PRESSURE OR POKE THEM or else they will easily bend inwardsleft: Rockville Right: AC Delco OEM speaker

    Are you reading this and wondering if you should purchase these Speakers with a yes or no? If you are, I will now list several reasons why you should or should not purchase them. So below, here’s a list of reasons why you should.(Pros)- These Speakers have 105dB SPL. What that means is that they can be heard from a very, very long ways away.- They have a very nice 85hz-5khz FR. Meaning, they do not push into the deep bass (40-60hz), and they don’t also overlap into your Treble (5-7khz+) so these speakers are designed to be very Midrange dedicated.- When paired with a 200w(PerChannel) High Frequency output Amp, they bounce along with music and sound great on their own. I mention the power rating per channel, because it is low, but very highly efficient meaning with less power consumption you get just as much boom.- Heavy Magnet design which tells me that no, these are not cheaply made speakers.- Bumped Dust Cap Cone, great for a nice full surround sound without any emptiness like Wizzar Cones that are mounted to “Midbass” Speakers.- The cost is moderately cheap(Cons)- They weight a lot, bad for smaller cars.- They make for a very tight fit, so if you don’t have a lot of room or any, these might just not fit. I had to literally bend the leads into a U shape to make these fit properly but they are now very very snug.All that being said, I cannot recommend anything else for this price point that I have currently come across or seen when it comes to the 6.5″ Midbass Speakers that exist here on Amazon. If you’re thinking about spending $20 on a lesser type of Midbass Speaker, all I can tell you in advance is that you are wasting your money. These might be a bit more expensive, but they produce almost an ear shattering 8-10dB more than the 600-800w Speakers that exist here in the 6.5″ Variety.I only hope that they continue to make this type of product for years to come.
