The Vatican Code by Rob Jones
This was an exciting book from start to finish. The characters were all unique and each was great to get to know. There were so many times you held your breath wondering what would happen next, if the would survive or even reach their goal. Rob Jones has done it again with and absolutely awesome story. Sit back and enjoy, you may haven’t trouble putting it down.

  2. Jim

    Overall a great read
Very well written and easy to follow the characters travels. I’m not to sure why there was a need for foul language towards the end. It changed the enjoyment of the read.

  3. Voracious Reader

    Fast Moving
I always like these stories of mysterious Vatican histories. After Dan Brown’s books, I’ve been hooked. This was an exciting read and I highly recommend it.

  4. Rajiv Mathur

    Average
Story was ok. Pretty back in plot and very predictable. Not a bad read though. Mason is a good hero.

  5. David Duquette

    Great detail
The book did a great job of describing locations and the story was fast moving and engaging. The characters were well developed

Review of the Vatican Code. By Rob Jones
This is a very entertaining book. It pretty much grabbed me and demanded me to read until I finished it. There is no question of the danger and excitement. The characters seemed real and you felt like you were actually there. My only complaint was it a little bit predictable. I do recommend this book for anyone that loves adventure stories

  7. SimplyMe

    Fast moving
Fact paced, Chara terse developed as story goes along. Not a typical shoot ’em up, there is actually a plot. End was a little abrupt but definitely goes along story lines, doesn’t leave anyone hanging.

  8. Tom Norman

a fun read, well done, a bit slow at times but overall quite enjoyable
Well written. A rather persistent and e I’ll antagonist. Portrayal so the Vatican and its machinations mirrors the same by other offers. Kind of time for the church to join the present and leave behind its love affair with medieval garb, and all the irrelevant pomp, lace and medieval trappings.

  9. H. J. Di Bernardo

Leider sehr unglaubwürdig: in Rom davongekommen, in Zürich davongekommen, in anderen Städten z B Florenz (den Rest hab ich vergessen) auch, wie wenig Phantasie…

  12. Julie Johnson-begg

I have read the two Jed Mason thrillers back to back and the Raiders was a masterful story quickly painting an in depth snapshot of each lead character and their was a clear lead on at the end of the book for further stories. However The Vatican Code totally takes us on a divergent pathway ignoring the Raiders origin story and the relationships in it and how they impacted on Mason, instead creating an inconsistent pathway in the short years of joining MI6 and beefing up his prior military service. Totally off putting. I think continuity of characters is essential, know way would Jed of book one be an assassin. In this one a new disparate team is formed then disbanded at the end. The villain is linked to the hidden hand but at a loftier level. This stuff just distracted from the overall story which par for course was thrilling with many turns of the plot.

To many incredible escapes, to many secret Sacred locations, amazing how the baddies just pipped at the post. Over the top. However, shows many R.C. Fables. J
