   Superb for travel
   Clarks has done it again! Great cushioning for all-day comfort, and more stylish than similar styles on the market. Except for really rugged terrain, I wore these all over Ireland and Scotland and my feet did not hurt. The slightly rounded toe box is a welcome relief from pointier styles and roomy enough that socks fit, but not at the loss of comfort. I thought the Velcro strap was too stiff at first but realized it had to be sturdy for better support.

   Most comfortable shoes for elders.
   This shoes are super soft I bought them for my grandma and she loves them. Easy to put on, not heavy and just enough support for her feet. They last her a good 1-2 years great quality.

   Nice shoe but a bit on the small size
   I tend to go from 9 to 9.5 shoes depending on the brand. It seems that whenever I find a shoe I like, it is discontinued.Anyway, I just bought some mary jane Skechers in size 9 and they are somewhere between 1/4 -to 1/2 inch longer than these Clark Mary jane. Putting the shoes back to back, the difference is startling.I LOVE the Clark Mary jane shoe. It fits well across the foot and has nice arch support. My foot feels really well supported and comfortable. My toe in my right foot (which is slightly bigger) is right up at the edge whereas in the Skecher shoe I can press my thumb in the gap between my big toe and the shoe.I’m keeping the Clark 9. I got this through Amazon warehouse in “like new” condition. Hardly. There was human hair and dog hair inside the shoe and whoever had them went walkies in the mud. So much for ‘like new’ but they are here now and they fit and I like them so they are staying.Next time I might order 9 1/2 to see it they are better or if these pinch over time. I don’t like my shoes too long as I have drop foot and have tendency to trip if I don’t watch it.To be honest, I like how these feel more than the Skechers. The Clarks feel more solid.(update: bought the 9 1/2 and they are perfect. The 9s are demoted to be used for gardening)

   Update October 2020: I was just buying a replacement pair and thought I’d update my review. Though the fact that I’m buying another pair should tell you enough! I’ve worn my first black pair at least three times a week for the past year and a half and they’ve been great. They continue to be some of the most comfortable, lightest shoes I’ve owned, and coming home every day just completely not aware of my knees and feet is like a miracle.The black pair, which I’ve worn the most, are showing wear on their soles; I think there’s actually still a decent bit of wear left in them, but I’m about to go on a trip where I’ll be walking a lot, so I wanted to have a pair in tip-top shape for that occasion. The upper part of the shoe still looks great.Out of my three pairs that I’ve owned for over a year, I’ve had two small problems. The velcro on one shoe of one pair isn’t holding as well anymore, and one shoe of one pair had some sole separation (easily fixed with E6000 glue). The comfort and ease of these shoes far outweighs those small problems.I will say, having bought these in black, brown, and navy synthetic, I wouldn’t bother buying the different colors next time. Even out of the box, the brown and navy are both almost-black dark to begin with, and then it turns out that the color is more of a sprayed-on, almost powdery coating over an underlying black synthetic that rubs off pretty quickly. After a few months, I was left with one black pair, one black pair with dark brown stitching, and one black pair with dark blue stitching, so it’s really not worth it if you want shoes in distinctly different colors.Original review: In my business we have a peak season in the summer where I am on my feet all day long. After last summer, I was in absolute agony and would lie in bed every night with my feet aching so badly I could barely sleep. I knew something had to change! So before this year’s summer rush I went looking for a truly comfortable pair of shoes, and after spending time reading over reviews finally decided to try these. After wearing them for just two weeks, I went out and bought them in two more colors. Now it’s the end of the summer rush, and I’m just… not aware of my feet at all. They do their work and carry me around and DON’T HURT. Amazing!Seriously, I wasn’t expecting them to be this effective. I haven’t had much luck with memory foam shoes in the past, usually preferring a more orthotic-type insole, but these are as effective as any orthotic I’ve ever used and definitely more comfortable! And LIGHT – I didn’t realize how tiring my big heavy shoes were until I wasn’t fighting that weight anymore. As well as being great for work, these have also become my must-pack travel shoes; they’re neutral enough to go with many outfits, comfortable enough that I can walk in them all day, and easy to kick off and on for long car trips.Interesting side note to theater techs, ninjas, etc – these are the absolute quietest shoes I’ve ever owned!

   Great, for occasional wear.
   These were very comfortable and fit perfectly at the outset. I was actually quite sure these would be my new go-to work shoe, that one shoe that you reorder every time they wear out… Unfortunately, they just don’t have the durability needed for a work shoe. The soles have worn more than 1/4″ in just the two months I’ve been wearing them, and now I need to replace them, as that wear as primarily been on the inside edge. My needs are a shoe that I can wear 8-9 hours a day, on my feet, walking and standing, and these don’t hit that mark. If the soles were made of a more durable material, I would love these shoes.For a shoe you wear at an office job or just out and about, I’m sure they’ll serve admirably, and for that I wholeheartedly recommend them. They’re comfy, cute, easy to wear, and will match just about everything you own.

   Just received them this afternoon. They are so light that you don’t feel you are wearing them. They fit well and look cute. love them. Haven’t got the chance to wear them out due to the circuit breaker. will be wearing them on the first day back to office.
