My 3yr olds fav shoes
My 3 yr olds fav shoes! Durable and comfortable. Nice wide toe box! I’ve bought him two pairs so far.

True wide shoes for little feet
Width is good and comfortable. Not enough cushion for long walks or long days, my daughter complains her feet hurt at the end of her school day. They are very nice looking. I will order more because true wide shoes for kids are hard to find.

Good transition from crocs
Bought these for a 5 year old who was very used to wearing crocs. This served as a great intermediate shoe to progressing to regular sneakers. Quality was great. Highly recommend

Perfect fit!
My daughter has sensory issues, particularly with things touching, rubbing, or tight on her toes. These are perfect!

My kid loves them
I got this for my kid and he loves them. He literally won’t wear any of his other shoes. The toe area is wide which makes it more comfortable for kids to play around in. The color options are so nice. The quality is nice and doesn’t look like it’ll wear out. My kid plays rough and it’s held up, no scratches or rubber wearing out. Great value for great shoes.

Disappointed
Sizing is great but after less than 2 months, they are tearing at the toe and have holes in them. I was excited about these because my kindergarten has wide feet and it’s hard to find shoes that fit him. These are definitely not good for kids who are on the go and playing everyday!! Horrible quality!!!

Good shoes!
Great fit for wide feet! Pretty durable but if your child scuffs their toes then they fall apart pretty quickly

Too narrow for my son’s round foot
To narrow for my son, otherwise nice product.

Los zapatos le quedan perfectos a mi hijo, solo hay que tener cuidado con la talla, ya que son un poco más grandes de la medida real del pie, tal vez deberían poner una equivalencia de tallas

These are a big hit with the almost-5-year-old. They fit his wide feet perfectly, and he says they’re so light and comfortable he doesn’t want to take them off – he even got special permission to wear them in the house for the first couple of days while they were still clean. Additional comments were that he was able to get them on easily himself. The mouth stays open wide nicely and the heel is fairly firmly upright, so he could slide his feet in, then use the velcro strap to get them the right snugness. And they look like grownup runners, so he’s enjoying the big-boy vibes. The adults appreciate the simplicity, and think the elastic lacing below the velcro is a nice touch for comfort and flexibility. It’s too early to say if they’ll last a long time (though he may well outgrow them first – you know how kids grow!), but they seem to be built really solidly. There’s double stitching, gluing, and everything was aligned with no signs of gaps or peeling. Soles are decently thick, and there’s the extra layer of toe cap for added protection when crawling around in a fort or playground castle.Everyone involved is very happy with these shoes!

I am a big fan of barefoot and minimalist shoes, and since all three of our children have transitioned from crawling to walking, we’re constantly on the lookout for shoes that feature a wide toe box, zero drop, a thin flexible sole, minimal to no toe spring, and enough room in the front for growth. We ordered these shoes for our 6.5-year-old son, who has started to outgrow his size 12 shoes. I’ll break this review down based on the five criteria we typically consider. The Toe Box – The toe box on these shoes is excellent. It is sufficiently wide to allow all of his toes to move and wiggle freely, promoting healthy foot development without compression. When compared to department store brands (also size 12), the width of this toe box is significantly wider and shaped like a barefoot.Zero Drop – These shoes appear to have no drop from the heel to the ball of the foot, which supports a more natural gait. We tried removing the insole to bring our son’s foot closer to the ground, but he found it uncomfortable. I do wish the soles were more flexible, as this would enhance the overall experience.Thin Flexible Sole – Unfortunately, the sole of this shoe is not thin or flexible; it is extremely stiff. This rigidity undermines the benefits of the wide toe box and zero drop. A stiff sole restricts the foot’s natural bending motion. There is the benefit of this thick, stiff sole of protecting your child’s feet on rough terrain but it would be nice to see a more flexible sole all-around.Minimal to No Toe Spring – Toe spring refers to the upward bend at the front of the shoe. Our feet don’t naturally do this, and our shoes shouldn’t either. These shoes have a noticeable toe spring, which, combined with the stiff sole, forces the toes upward while in the shoe. This is not how we naturally walk.Fit – Our son has outgrown his usual size 12 shoes across various brands, from department store options to specialty minimalist shoes. However, these size 13 shoes are significantly larger, with his toes sitting far back from the front of the shoe. If you’re considering ordering these, it might be wise to stick with your child’s current size to see if it fits, as these seem to run big.Overall, my opinion on these shoes is mixed. I appreciate the quality and the attractive color, which our son loves. He’s excited to grow into them. While we’re not extremely strict about minimalist shoes—given how difficult they are to find for children—he will wear these once he grows into them. However, if a truly minimalist shoe is important to you, these may not meet all your criteria. If you have no idea what I’m talking about when it comes to minimalist shoes and you just want good quality shoes for your kids, then these are great. I’m giving them a 4 out of 5 stars because they are well-made and live up to their description, but I wanted to highlight that they don’t fully align with the barefoot/minimalist ideal if that’s what you’re after. All-in-all they’re great as general shoes, but not great at being minimalist shoes.

My little guy just started school, so we needed to make sure he had the proper footwear to keep him going all day long. These shoes from Geococcyx fit that bill perfectly all while looking oh so cool as well. The shoes are well made and sturdy too; they’ve held up even with our little guy running around in them constantly since the day we got them. They look cool while not being too flashy, and he finds them to be really comfortable to wear.Literally no complaints from us or our little one, which is amazing! Highly recommended!

With my son complaining his size 9’s hurt his toes but they were obviously long enough, these wide shoes were great timing for school starting up again. They fit well and are definitely a 9 wide, the stitching appears strong and well done. The fabric is rough on the outside but soft on the inside. There isn’t much arch support but again this somewhat tracks with other kids shoes, I just expected a bit more for a wide version. The tread is aggressive studs which is great for outdoors but I worry about tile floors a bit. As well with the soles being black these are not appropriate for gym class and unfortunately the supplier as much as I like these shoes don’t appear to have a white sole offering. All in they appear very well made for the cost, which is about average. Though even finding wide kids shoes is rare so it could also almost be called competitive for having it shipped straight to your door. I’ll update the review after a month or so of wearing about how they have held up but with two walks with them, so far so good.
