    Good food, Good brand
    Nice clean food. My dog is so sensitive to a lot of proteins I just decided to go vegan. I was using a more expensive brand, but found it was hard to find. I just couldn’t depend on finding it every month. Natural Balance has been in business for many years and they’re well established. It’s always in stock and reasonably priced. But the biggest factor is that my dog likes it. Also, it doesn’t contain Brewer’s yeast, which my dog is highly sensitive to.

    My dog loves this food!
    Our dog is a Doodle and he started itching…a lot. We took him to the vet who told us that a lot of Poodles and other mixed breed Poodle dogs are allergic to chicken. She sold us a big bag of prescription dog food, which was SOOO expensive. We love our dog, but the price was ridiculous! So, I looked online trying to find “chicken free” dog food. Apparently, it doesn’t exist. I thought I was going to have to buy the expensive food from the vet. But then I thought, “How about vegan dog food? Eureka! I found one, because there was only one available. I bought it and my dog actually loves it! Whew!!!

    Wish there was an opportunity to give 6 stars.Natural Balance Vegetarian is amazing!! Recently, our wired fox terrier was experiencing on-going stomach issues and struggled with other protein sources.We are 4 bags in. Since switching our dog has been thriving. Great energy. Healthy digestion and solid poops.

    Great Vegetarian Dog Food
    Our dogs love this dog food and actually get excited to eat their meals since we switched to it. A few things:1.) It can be kind of expensive if you have bigger dogs because the pieces are big and therefore you use up more per meal. I would recommend trying to buy this from places that offer auto-ships or subscriptions because you can get a discount at first, then cancel the subscription later. Petco also has coupons if you use auto-ship to buy their items.2.) Since the pieces are so big (and therefore it can seem like your dog gets less food per cup), we supplement by adding canned, no-salt green beans and/or pureed pumpkin to our dogs’ meals to help fill them up without adding extra calories.3.) One of our dogs has a sensitive stomach, and this food didn’t necessarily change that for her. I would say her poop looks healthier and comes out easier, but there is tendency for things to get softer than usual.We will continue to buy this for our dogs unless something drastic happens and they can’t stomach it anymore (unlikely). Overall, it’s a good food for the price and your dog will most likely love it!

    Best healthy dog food available!
    We have purchased this dog food for the past 18 years and love it. We would be devastated if this was ever discontinued.Our 18 year old shih-tzus are still alive! How many dogs do you know that live that long? We are so happy that they have lived as long as they have and credit their good health to their food. Our groomer has always commented on their beautiful coats. We hope for many more years thanks to their healthy food.We also have an 8 year old Golden Retriever and a 3 year old Goldendoodle that have always eaten this dog food. They are thriving and have beautiful, soft coats with no hotspots at all.Every time we meet other dogs, we notice their stinky, oily dog smell that our dogs have never had. That is another positive about this dog food. No yucky dog smell.Our dogs all love the taste, are extremely healthy, don’t smell, don’t have skin issues, and are living to a very old age. What more can you ask for?Please feed your dogs this dog food. They deserve the best!

    Amazing product, 7 yrs diet, 11yr boxer, lean, attract less bug pests!
    My dog has had this diet for almost 7 years of her 11 yr life, she eats it slowly, like it is a healthy meal, vs some junk food meal, the waste that she puts in the yard attracts dramatically less pests (flies) than other dogs waste, plus I notice less bugs on her face and privates when we are out backpacking and around other dogs being harassed by flies and other pests out in nature. She has a shine to her coat, partially because I give her hour massages every 2-3 days, and stays nice and lean that allows her to still go on 1week to 6 week hiking adventures with me. I do wish the smaller bags were less expensive, it makes for a very costly hike, normally I’ll just buy the bigger bag, fill up what I need, and donate the rest. One time hiking on the Appalachian trail near Elizabethton, Tn we were harassed, chased and told she can not be vegan, and they wanted and succeeded at taking her from me in Damascus, Va, I protested on the curb of city hall for three days, may 29th to May 31 2019 until fri which they arrested me for animal cruelty, 6 days in jail, 9 days in county pound(dog), found not guilty with no lawyer, but with out the help of some of the townsfolk that knew me while I was staying at local establishment broken fiddle hostel (lovely people) fighting for me, even came to get me from jail, I might of still been in jail. Even when leaving jail, the retired vet woman that picked me up said “it’s not safe for you to be in town, we are getting you a bus ticket to where ever you think is safe. So beware of others in unknown that do not believe in this food as an option for animals.

    Our pitbull loves it. And it doesn’t smell, so now he doesn’t smell like fish or other dead carcasses. He was allergic to chicken, and we couldn’t stand the fish smell. I only wonder if he needs an oil supplement, I’ll have to ask my vet friend.Edit:We no longer buy this, as the price is extortionate. We paid around $68 last time. Take a hike bud.

    My dog will eat anything (literally, she is not picky AT ALL!! She’s always been a vacuum cleaner on walks), so no complaints on that end when I started buying this food. However… From a human’s point of view… this food is awesome! I’ll admit it, I’ve always thought dog food smells disgusting. Whether it’s high end – high protien grain free stuff, or cheaper wheat/corn/by-product filled stuff, it’s all gross according to my nose. Except for this! Finally a dog food that doesn’t smell bad!!! In fact, it actually smells really GOOD. Two thumbs up!

    Shipping was quick and easy. The product itself was OK my dog didn’t like it as much as other dog foods. I bought it hoping it would stop his skin allergy (vet says protein allergy) but so far it hasn’t.
