    On time in great shape
Package arrived on time and in great shape. Book was brand new as advertised. I could not find it in stores so I am glad to have found it here. Price was excellent. Thank you.

    Good Stuff
I find Access 2016 for Dummies extremely helpful. The writing is clear and the coverage seems complete. What else could I ask? I have made my living with computers since the early 1970’s–not as a techie but as a knowledgeable user and writer of special purpose programs, and I greatly appreciate the absence of technogarble in the “for Dummies” books.

    Access2016 for Dummies like me
I first learned Access2000, but that was almost 15 years ago. I tried using the help files provided with Access2016 and got nowhere, so I picked up a copy of “Access2016 for Dummies”, and I can’t say it solved all my problems, but I found the answers I needed. It’s a good book for a reference.

  4. JB Denham

    Useful
I found this very useful and I would recommend it.

Not like the “For Dummies” from the past.
I tend to like “for Dummies “ books, except this one was written more like Microsoft’s instructional book. For Dummies used to explain, in simple terms, a lot of the “terminology” used as well as the “how to[s]”. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say she just, simply, copied from the Microsoft book, but didn’t convert it to laymen’s terms. For another words, if we can understand Microsoft’s terminology, we wouldn’t need “for Dummies” books!

    An Execllent Reference
Short of taking a long drawn out class, this is the best way to learn Access. Plus, if you forget some point you have the ready reference at your finger tips.

It’s a pretty good basic book – and it does venture into some more advanced concepts. I guess it just didn’t answer a few of the questions that I had when I bought it, so it doesn’t get the five star rating that I’d like to give it!

    Seems like a good book
Seems like a good book. After thumbing thru a few pages, I was able to create and load my simple database. So far, it has answered all my questions. Don’t think my database needs will outgrow this book.

  9. Joy

I used access for years and then stopped. I wanted to start using it again but it has been that long I thought buying the Access for Dummies would help, but unfortunately it didn’t help much. I am not sure that if it was reading it online rather than hard copy or not, but unfortunately the information in the book was of not help what so ever

  10. Annie

Very detailed and easy to understand

If you are having to use Access for the first time then this is the place to start. The usual type of book from the Dummies range which focusses on the basics but I still refer back to it from time to time as the index is easier to use than some of the more advanced reference books. If you have been using Access for some time and want to advance your skills then this book is probably not for you and I would suggest the Access 2016 Bible Access 2016 Bible. That said this book is perfect for beginners and the five-star rating shows how much help it has been to me.

Conforme alla descrizione, arrivato nei tempi previsti, scatola integra. Mi aiuta ogni volta che ho un dubbio ma per funzioni più avanzate non è adatto.
