    Great for my damaged barrier that can’t tolerate anything heavier than this
    This is my favorite Byoma product thus far. Wasn’t impressed with the milky toner and mist, but this little thing has been literally saving my poor skin with damaged barrier. I’m trying to repair my barrier at the moment.I have to wash my face once a day, and after cleansing, when I apply basically anything, my skin starts burning and turns red. I learned that applying a gel moisturizer or aloe vera gel is the only thing I can apply as the first step. It’s not enough on its own, but it makes my skin plump and hydrated, and I don’t turn into an angry tomato.As my second step, I apply this serum. I squeeze the dropper while it’s outside the bottle, then dip it into the serum and release it, that way it fills up completely (thanks to one reviewer who recommended this!). Then I mix a large drop of it with 3-4 drops of my toner. It mixes well. This way it’s easy to spread the serum when my face is already dry. Then I apply this to my face, and I’m always happy that my skin never reacts to it and quickly absorbs it. It takes 3-5 min for it to fully sink in.It never makes me look like a greasy ball, it just looks natural, makes my skin feel comfortable, soft, and moisturized without any heaviness. Maybe due to my damaged barrier I can’t tolerate regular moisturizers. It’s like my sensitivity is beyond normal, everything just sits on top of my skin and feels disturbing and irritating. But this serum works amazingly: it’s kind of oily (because with just gels I feel dry) but it’s also very lightweight. I think it must be those ceramides, cholesterole, and fatty acids (“the golden trio”), because my skin feels so… idk natural and moisturized from the inside? Like it doesn’t just sits on top of my skin but actually repairs my lipid barrier? At least that’s what I hope for. My skin’s getting better every day, but of course it’s hard to differentiate between the effects of the serum and my skin’s own healing abilities haha. Maybe it just regenerates while I sleep. But I literally can’t use any other moisturizer except this serum. I’ve tried everything from my cabinet, and they all never absorb, irritate my skin, make my rosacea worse, etc. I decided to write a review after applying it for maybe 10th time because I appreciate how my skin feels and looks with it. After the post-cleansing redness goes away, my skin starts to look healthy, even-toned, and hydrated. This is my only savior and the only oil-based product I can use right now and feel like my skin isn’t suffocating.The downside is the price and the amount you get. I will wait for some sale or coupon, otherwise it’s too pricey 🙁

    It’s an amazing serum. I’ve been struggling to find one that blurs pores and wears well under makeup and this does the trick. It’s incredibly hydrating without being greasy. I don’t care for the packaging. It’s difficult for the dropper to pick up the product and the bottle doesn’t seem full. I hope Byoma changes the packaging. I’d buy it again though.

    This has the consistency of a cream. Not much like a serum. It does moisturize well, but may need reapplication based on how dry the skin is. I’m very disappointed with the quantity, the bottle is not full and doesn’t last long, that makes it very expensive for the price. For acne prone skin, this didn’t cause any reaction. This blends well with other skin care products and makeup. They don’t have bigger bottles, so it creates a lot of waste if you need to repurchase. The dropper doesn’t fill up fully because most of the container is air.

    Having read other reviews made a point of checking the seal, which was in tact.Great serum, I use it after the spray (probably the best post cleanse hydrating spray I’ve ever bought) and the brightening serum. It sits really nicely on top, soaks in without pilling (no silicone) and my skin loves it. About to order a cleanser and moisturiser and accept that the products are so good I need to get over not loving the packaging!
