    So comfortable!!
    Wow! These are comfortable and look good. My husband and I are learning how to tango. I wanted a pair of dance shoes. I have problem feet. Usually can’t wear hardly any heel. And my feet are wide. And shoes like this are usually uncomfortable. I went a half size up and they fit beautifully! I love them!!

    Good genral purpose shoe
    I was going crazy looking for a leather soled shoe that would fit. This shoe does run small. I ordered a half a size bigger and I can manage with that, but I think I could have ordered a full size bigger and it would have been a little better. Also, I do have wide feet so I ordered the wide width that was available. I’d say the width runs true. The foot strap secures with a buckle and not that loathsome velcro, that never stays closed.I would recommend this product, with the size adjustment caveat. I have flat feet so the arch support seams light moderate to me. The heel has good depth and the toe box is comfortable for my wide foot.

    Amazing Shoes
    I have never gotten a pair of character shoes before, so I thought they were going to be sooo uncomfortable and hard to dance in like regular high heeled shoes. They were sooo comfortable. I wore them out first and my feet were not in dire pain when I got home. Instead of half a size difference from my street shoe I got a whole size difference, which worked well. They are comfortable and easy to dance in. I definitely recommend them for a short dance for a beginner.

    My feet are 8W, I got 8.5W so that I could add an insole and wear socks/tights. Great quality, VERY cute, look more like Mary Janes than some of the cheaper character shoes I’ve seen. However! What I received was not actually the Capezio Jr. Footlight- it was the Spotlight Baby Louis! Important note! I didn’t return them because they work just fine, but just a note! Ordered them from Amazon Warehouse deals. I think that if I’d gotten the Capezio Footlight, there would have been more padding, but as I was always planning on adding an insole, this was not a huge issue for me. 3 stars only because this was not the product that I received.

    I ordered 1/2 size up , I’m 60 with 85 year old bunions (says my podiatrist ) first pair of adorable shoes I can wear with dresses ,skirts & skorts , easy up n down stairs ! And can spin & dance … inner sole a bit thin I will add an upper toe Cush for ultimate comfort.

    The COMFIEST Character Shoe
    I tried on several shoes before finding these ones and they were by far the most comfy! I’m just getting back into theater as a young mom and needed a low-ish heel. These look nice, are durable, and were comfortable from the beginning. Though I did feel that the shoes were very slippery and it took a long time to wear down enough to not slide around on the stage.

    I went half a size up for these because people said they were a bit small, but it just depends on whether you plan on wearing nothing/tights with them, or socks. With socks, half a size up fit perfectly. With nothing, half a size up was a little big, so I would recommend getting your normal size. Otherwise, the shoes seem a decent quality and I like the (sturdy/stable/practical) heel. I was concerned by how narrow they look as someone who prefers wide shoes, but these are okay (not wide exactly, but wide enough that it’s not uncomfortable if you have wide feet). Overall, I think these will do very well as all-purpose dress shoes.
