    I first bought the Color Wow Dream Coat right before my summer trip to Puerto Rico for the Bad Bunny concert. Every time I go to Puerto Rico, my straight hair turns into a giant poof ball the moment I step outside, the humidity always wins. I usually end up putting my hair up in a bun and just give up.Before this trip, I went to the salon to dye and cut my hair into a long bob. My stylist suggested a Brazilian blowout, but I said, “Nope, I’m going to try this Dream Coat instead.” She had heard about it but never used it, so I brought my bottle with me and told her it needed to be activated with heat. She applied it, blow-dried my hair, and said, “Let me know how it works.”Well, I could not believe the results. I spent eight days in Puerto Rico, and for the first time ever, my hair stayed sleek and smooth, not a hint of frizz even in that crazy humidity. I washed it a couple of times and didn’t even bring the bottle with me, yet the effects lasted the entire trip.     Transformative results when used correctly
    I bought this back in Feb and tried it a few times with rather disappointing results. I thought maybe the directions were a little exaggerated and I used it like other leave in products. Sprayed it into my hair, combed through, applied my usual anti-frizz serum and then blow dried as usual flipping my hair upside down. THIS IS NOT IT!A fewWeeks ago I tried it again because my hair was just a frizzy dry mess. I decided to follow the directions to the letter.I sectioned my towel dried hair that was still pretty wet. Sprayed each section LIBERALLY, like, more than I thought I ever should and combed each section through before moving on to the next. I skipped any other product in my hair which kind of terrified me.I let air dry a bit before blow drying with my giant air brush, again, going in sections and using tension and high heat.I was literally floored by the results! My hair was soft, felt like silk, was SUPER smooth and INSANELY shiny!!!!Since using this product the right way, my super dry, frizzy, crunchy hair has been the complete opposite. My co-workers all thought I had gotten my hair done at a salon, had my hair colored, had my hair cut….none of which has happened.My hair is easier to style and curl, it has bounce and movement. It glistens without looking oily.My only criticism is the design of the bottle. It’s not very ergonomic and the nozzle spins and I’ll lose my grip on it throughout application. So, I transferred the product into a different spray bottle that is much easier to hold while spraying.The moral of this story ladies and gentlemen is that you MUST follow the directions!! I can’t stress that enough. When they call it a coat, they mean it. Each section of your hair needs to be coating thoroughly and absolutely saturated by the product. Just spraying it into your hair isn’t going to do the trick. You also need heat with tension. Just blow drying won’t do it.Yes it takes a bit more time, but the results in applying it and blow drying correctly are worth it.I don’t notice a scent really.My hair just smells clean. I also notice my hair doesn’t get as oily as quickly. I was also surprised that no other products were needed at all. No leave in condition, no oil, serum nothing.

    I live in the humid south part of the US. Worked great! Here is how I did it……..
    I have super fine and very frizzy hair. I used a shampoo & conditioner in one, then used a smoothing conditioner- both Pantene products. Rinsed both products out thoroughly. I towel dried my hair. I then saturated my hair all over with Color Wow and combed my hair with a wide tooth comb to release any tangles. (I did NOT do one section at a time- I’m not that coordinated) I then used a flat vent brush and blow dried my hair using an IONIC Blow dyer making sure I used tension with the brush. When my hair was dry, I then used the COLD/FREEZE shot button on my blow dryer to close the cuticle on all parts of my hair. The cold shot is not mentioned in the directions, but it should be. I attribute part the success of my application method to that finishing touch. When I was finished using the COLD shot button on my blow-dryer, I then used a straighter on medium heat as normal. It was very humid the next day and my hair still did not frizz! I do not know if this will work for everyone else, but it worked well for me. It has been 4 days since I did the treatment and my hair is still frizz free. This is the only product I have ever used that has given me this kind of result. In my opinion, there are 2 keys to getting great results: 1. IONIC blow dryer 2. COLD shot button at the end.

    Works well enough. Make sure to drench your hair with this product before blow drying. I used my fingers to massage and distribute to hair strands. Only negative is the spray bottle. It’s difficult to use with one hand while spraying your hair. Others are using other spray bottles. Second day after washing my hair, frizz was still at a minimum.

    He probado este spray antifrizz y la verdad es que me ha sorprendido muy positivamente.Lo primero a destacar es que resulta muy cómodo de aplicar, aunque para un mejor resultado conviene hacerlo por secciones y asegurarse de usar una cantidad generosa de producto. Aun así, no deja sensación pegajosa ni apelmaza el cabello.En cuanto a su rendimiento, deja el pelo suave, acondicionado y brillante desde el primer uso. Un punto muy favorable es que facilita el secado y el planchado posterior: al secar con aire ya elimina gran parte del frizz, lo que reduce el tiempo y el esfuerzo a la hora de peinarse con plancha.Otro aspecto que valoro mucho es que no ensucia el cabello ni lo deja pesado, algo que sí me ha ocurrido con otros productos de acabado.     I wished I had known at Wow Deamcoat years ago. I have a lot of fine frizzy grey hair, since letting the grey come through I have never managed to tame my hair, even with straighteners, which have damaged my hair. As soon as I step outside on a humid, damp or rainy day my hair puffs up. Now my hair looks shiny, straight and bouncy. I sectioned my damp hair, sprayed, combed through then dried with a bristle brush (less hair damage than a metal barrel brush). Best hair product, I’ve ever used to get rid of frizz.
