It’s cute and fits in my theme room and works perfectly well
I love this phone. I use it with a cell 2 Jack so my mobile can ring it and I can ring through my mobile using it as a regular phone. I just wanted something nostalgic and as a prop in a theme room that I have. overall the volume seems good. the clarity seems good. it’s super easy to use so functionality is perfect. the ringtone is loud. the phone quality is sufficient considering it’s a replica made of plastic and I love the cha-ching. when I drop coins in there, I use it as a little piggy bank for that reason.

    Beautiful Vintage Style Pay Phone
I envisioned a red lan-line phone in my kitchen to match the vintage style I have created. I just purchased and received this red pay phone. It fits my kitchen wall and theme perfectly! This phone brings back all of the fun childhood memories I had calling my grandma and classmates. The only difference is it looks like a rotary phone but it has push button features instead. Not a deal breaker for me. The sounds of the coins dropping into the phone bank is also an added feature I remembered and loved. The phone looks heavier than it really is, but the receiver is the heaviest part of the phone. I hope the specialized features on this phone last throughout the LONG lifetime of the phone. We shall see. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.

    Cute
We got this because my wife likes the color for the kitchen. It’s very attractive. When you put a coin in, it makes a chirping sound like the old phones did. How long that will last is unclear, as others have pointed out. You don’t need a coin to operate the phone; it’s just for play and is a quaint feature. It comes with two keys to open the coin tray, which is essentially a bank. This could be fun with kids as a piggy bank. The handset is solid, like the real ones, and the cord stretches about 11 feet. That’s pretty darned good. The downside?1. It’s push button, not rotary. Where the 1 and 2 are on real pay phones, you’ll find the * and #, and 1-9 starts where the 3 is.2. It’s made of very cheap plastic, not the metal you find on the real deal. But you’ll only notice that when you lift it, which should only be once for mounting. In use, you don’t notice this at all. It’s an attractive ornamental piece, with very good sound quality. If you like the way it looks on this site, you’ll love it in your kitchen. It is a quality working phone; it was a conversation piece at our annual T-giving family dinner for sure.

I absolutely love this phone you pair this with the device that allows you to hook up to your cell phone you don’t need a landline and it works great

Works great, works with the X-Link for mobile
I’ve always wanted a payphone as a home phone. Although this one wasn’t rotary like the older ones, it definitely gives the look and feel of one so I settled. We haven’t had many spam callers hit yet, but it felt like a horror movie when it rang at the struck of midnight!! Lol. It works great, though. It works with the X-Link device as well for anyone who uses a mobile device (we have a mobile line/device dedicated as our home phone line). I may still try to go on the hunt for the rotary version of this, if I can find one, but this’ll work for now!

I thought it was priced a bit high but it’s a delightful addition of whimsy to my media room although it is not plugged in for use.

This was a present for my daughter.I thought it would serve as a double purpose, fun telephone for her room and a money box. After keeping it stored until her birthday, and missing the Amazon return window, she opened the packaging only to find that the key does not open the coin box, rendering it useless.Very frustrating and I will be advising all that ask to avoid this product and amazon.
