    90s girl approved!
    I wore docs in high school in the late 90s and am so glad to rock the look again today. These are perfect! If you’re not familiar with the brand, the shoes are heavy and the more you wear them the more comfortable they get. I wore mine the second day I got them on my 12 hour (6 mile walking) shift at work. So, they’re comfortable enough to wear even from the beginning. I’m normally a size 7.5-8 in US women’s and I bought these in women’s size 6 and they fit perfectly- wiggle room and all. I love these shoes so much!!!If you’re wondering about the difference in the look of these shoes and the 1461 Bex smooth, on my second picture, these are on the left and the Bex smooth are on the right.

    The cutest pair of docs I own. The yellow laces and stitching are exactly as pictured and no breaking in was necessary. They go well with almost any outfit and I have received so many compliments. I usually wear a size 6 in other shoes but went with my usual size down to a 5 for docs and they were perfect. Would recommend to any lover of docs!

    shoes were good just as expected. They were soft. The box was just a regular box, no brand, so made me wonder, but shoes are good. I know the box shouldnt matter, but you spending a good amount of money just want to make sure there legit

    I mentally prepared myself for a break in period having previously been warned, but, from day 1, these shoes have been super comfortable. If I were to offer advice to anyone considering these shoes I would suggest ordering the European size (if possible). I sold European shoes for 40+ years and know that the US sizing that is listed for these shoes is not accurate with the size they choose to send (e.g. a ladies US size 9 shoe is equivalent to a 40 European size).

    These look and wear like your Docs from the 80s and 90s…
    They fit perfectly; not narrow. Didn’t need to break them in before the first time I wore them all day! I debated wearing the yellow laces but I wear jeans to work, so it’s not obnoxious; people love them. More than one person thought these were my “old” Docs from the 80s; there’s a real authentic look about them! I love them.

    These are great, well made, good leather, etc but DEFINITELY need to be broken in around heel and around ankle (like most shoes like this). I’d buy again for sure but do some preemptive bandaids on heel.

    Meravigliose come tutte le dr Martens. Avendo già il modello ad anfibio temevo per i grandi dolori che mi aspettavano, e invece niente. Dopo un paio di uscite si erano già ammorbidite e anche indossando i fantasmini non mi danno per nulla fastidio, sono comode come un paio di sneakers. Mi hanno davvero sorpresa in quanto il modello ad anfibi, nonostante siano passati ormai 5 anni, sono ancora costretta a a indossarli coi calzettoni per evitare vesciche e abrasioni.Attenzione alla taglia, mentre per gli anfibi avevo preso una taglia in più della mia abituale, e quindi il 37, del modello 1461 calza perfettamente la solita taglia 36.

    Cinque anni or sono ho acquistato il modello 1461 DMC PW SM-B 11839002 ed ancora le porto con comodità. Ovviamente comionciano a mostrare gli anni, perciò ho deciso di acquistare un altro paio di 1461 e queste “Antique” sembravano avere un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo, ma quando in breve tempo mi sono state consegnate purtroppo risultavano molto strette di pianta. Le ho dovute restituire.
