easy to understand
Well written, easy to understand, and well organized so you can just turn to what you need to find without having to search around. Each oil is described in detail including its common uses, qualities, and safety considerations. Common conditions that pets often suffer from are listed and described, along with their corresponding essential oil options and instructions for use. I believe this knowledge could save thousands in vet bills for your pets! I will be sure to use some of these tips to keep my own dog living a healthy and active lifestyle! I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves their pets!!!

Best pet essentials oil book.
I use essential oils and been using for pain meds for spay and neuter. I wanted to use for other things for my dogs. Like flea spray and calming spray. Love it. And written by a vet

Good info with recipes for the dogs. I use a topical “commercial” treatment for ticks and fleas, but living in Florida the mosquitoes will suck you dry – so I wanted something for a quick “wipe” before taking them out at night.

I did not realize how important knowing what Essential Oils could do to your pet until recently my dog went into Seizures because I had been diffusing oils that were toxic to him with knowing. I was pleasantly surprised this book emphasized precautionary measures at such a high level. I also enjoyed learning how animals process aromatherapy used in the home and not on the pet themselves; it was an eye-opener. I purchased this book to learn how to treat fleas in cats with homeopathic medicines instead of the conventional sprays you buy in the store or worse flea collars that my cats absolutely despise! Great Read!!!!!

This book was very informative and gave you lots of precise recipes and methods. Things like what to use or avoid were mentioned and they explain why. Very thorough.

Not worth the money
My daughter used her own money to buy this for me as a gift or I would have returned it. Everything in the book seems to be taken off the internet somewhere & there were even a few remarks regarding usage of eo’s that were perhaps over the top cautionary. There are many good holistic vets out there with blogs & other social media platforms that I would suggest following before ordering this book. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because there are a few recipes I appreciate. But definitely not worth the price.

I’m new to learning how to safely use essential oils on my beloved pooches. I liked this little book. It gives enough info to get you started without overcomplicating or being unnecessarily ‘flowery’ (no pun intended). It tells you what equipment you need and there are a few (it would have been good to have a few more) ‘recipes’ for helping with more common disorders. There is a section for dog stuff and a section for kitties. For the price it’s good value and is a useful resource if you’re new to the field.
