absolute best in the price range
good comfort: well-padded ear cups for extended use, such as online training.good audio quality both directionsin-line volume control is very handywhy this is not 5-star:excessive handling noise. any touch or rub of the cable is mechanically coupled to the left ear cup (this is NOT electronic noise, this is definitely mechanical). if bothersome to you, clip the cable to your shirt as close to your head as comfortable, but definitely somewhere between the volume control and the headset. my magnetic name badge works great for this. that way, only the only handling noise you pick up is limited to that from the final foot or two of the cable.

I love these headphones!! Very clear sound, perfect for calls or games!

Good for media, Ok for calls
These headphones produce good sound but I encountered connectivity issues with my phone. I used them at maximum volume on both my phone and the headphones without being too loud to hurt my ears. They feel well built and the adjustable size stays in place. They stayed on my head while I was doing some garden chores and speaking on the phone.Overall, they’re good for music or video but not so great for calls.Pros:Though they lack noise cancelling, the ear cuffs are tight enough to block most ambient noise.Independent volume control. There is a wheel for adjusting volume that is independent from your phone/computer volume.Intuitive mute. Lifting the boom automatically mutes you and notifies you with a spoken notice through the headphones.Cons:These kept disconnecting from my phone. At first I had my phone in my pants pocket and sometimes the sound would garble and occasionally disconnect from my phone. Moving my phone into my jacket pocket, closer to the headphones, didn’t help. Luckily they would reconnect quickly if I took my phone out of my pocket. No microphone noise cancelling. Background noise will be broadcast through the mic to whomever you’re speaking to. Most Bluetooth headsets I’ve experienced are like this. I’ve only had one headset that properly cancels background noise while I’m on a call.

Impressive sound quality for the price — better than expected
I honestly didn’t expect much from these Kensington AH3X Bluetooth headphones, but they really surprised me. The sound quality is impressive for this price range — clear, full, and balanced across all the noticeable frequencies. As a longtime sound enthusiast and former musician, I’ve owned everything from casual listening sets to studio-grade headphones, and these hold their own remarkably well. Average listeners will be very satisfied with the sound right out of the box, but if you use an EQ app, you can fine-tune them even more.On the downside, the microphone is just okay. My voice comes through a bit distant and boxy, and there’s no noise cancellation to block background sound during calls. I originally planned to use these for teleconferencing, but the mic quality doesn’t quite meet that standard. That said, they’re comfortable, feel well-built, and I really like the mechanical control buttons instead of the touch-sensitive ones most newer headsets use. Bluetooth connection has been solid with no noticeable lag, and the included travel case is a great bonus.Overall, these are an excellent value if you’re looking for affordable wireless headphones with great sound and solid construction. Just don’t expect professional-grade mic performance.

    Linux incompatible with annoying sidetoning
I was looking for something to replace my Logitech H390 after a second pair broke under a year in the same spot. This doesn’t work properly on Linux (I haven’t tested on Windows). The mic is too quiet even with the slider set to max input and and the sidetoning feature is hard to disable and very annoying hearing my voice back in my headset. If you want something simple that just works, look elsewhere. I decided to just buy more pairs of the H390 instead since it works cross-platform with no fuss.

    Affordable conference call headphones
These are functional working headphones that are perfect for conference calls or basic music / youtube viewing. They are on ear headphones, not over ear, with relatively small earpieces. So less prone to getting your ears hot, but a little less comfortable as well. The sound quality is acceptable, not stellar – fine for voices, and even background listening to music, but if you are really focused on the sound quality you can find plenty of nits to pick. The mic is again acceptable quality, perfect for conference calls and meetings, not good enough for recording your next album. I like that it mutes (and announces muted) if you close the mic, and unmuted if you pull it all the way down. Easy and intuitive. They can connect to two devices at once – just pair them each separately, and then you can connect both at once and it works fine. If you are playing media on one device and a call comes in, or you start music on the other it will pause the first (if the device supports that control) and switch to the latest one to start playback. Fairly intuitive, this feature works quite well. The band felt tight on my large head at first, but after opening them up to the right settings I haven’t had any discomfort. But they are a little better fit if you have a smaller head I think. If you have a larger budget and want fancy headphones for immersive music listening, these aren’t it. But for $30 at the time of review, they are serviceable work headphones that can dual pair with your computer and phone and are great for the work meeting so many of us have to take on our computers at home these days.

Works well – the mute button is very worthwhile having.

I bought these as I am an online teacher using a headset on a daily basis, and needed to replace an old set. These work as they should and my system volume needs to be much lower than with the previous set, which is presumably a good thing but I do have a few reservations. On the first day that I used this, I was aware that the sound was very different, almost metallic compared to my previous headset, which I found off-putting. My student said that my voice did sound a little different from her perspective but not to such an extent as to be problematic, so I persevered with them. As another reviewer has mentioned, there is a definite problem with mechanical noise via the left side – if you touch the cable, even if hair brushes against the microphone when turning one’s head, this creates a lot of noise for the user. I tried that reviewer’s suggestion of putting a clip on the cable at shoulder height and it does help tremendously. The clip that is provided on the volume control is at waist level, so does not offer any help with this issue, you definitely need to clip between the control and the ear-cup.The headset is advertised as having an “anti-tangle” fabric cable. Certainly, the cable is fabric but I have never experienced a cable that tangled as badly as this does! I am forever having to extend the cable to its full length and untangle it, so this is definitely not as advertised. As for comfort – I wear glasses and earrings, and I found that this headset was incredibly uncomfortable for the first couple of weeks, until I had managed to stretch/soften it enough to relax the pressure. Even now, if I don’t quite position the ear cups correctly, they can cause a great deal of discomfort. Only the fact that my previous headset had stopped working and I was in urgent need of a replacement stopped me sending this set back. Finally, be aware that if you want to use the set with a computer that does not have the most modern USB-C port, you will need an adaptor – luckily I realised this when I was ordering the headset, so ordered one at the same time. I got this and it’s doing the job: SNESH 2Pack USB-C Female to USB Male Adapter, USB C to USB A Adapter https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B09JV5FM2S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1So overall, yes, it’s a decent headset, it does the job and I am using it daily but it could be better in terms of comfort and noise interference. I would probably buy again if I had to but I might well be tempted to look for a different model, even if I had to pay a little bit more.
