    Love these bags so much
    I’ve had these traveling bags for a couple years now and they are still going strong. I’ve took them to Mexico, took them on camping trips and they have gone through the traveling ringer with us. Great Product, super easy to twist and twist to close. I’ve washed them in my dishwasher and washed them by hand super easy to clean. All around just great for outdoor peeps. Keeps dog food dry and keeps pests out.

    Exactly what we needed!
    Time and time again, whenever we would travel with our dogs, I would fill gallon ziplock bags with their food. I wanted to get away from using plastic whenever possible and just be less wasteful in general, so I searched for something air-tight and reusable. I was happy to find these! Easy to use and they store a good amount. I used three of these for my Dane mix as it was a 10 day trip and he eats 4 1/2 – 5 cups a day of large sized dry kibble – I ended up doing 60 cups total for his 3 bags (30 each with a little rooms to spare. The food is purina giant breed formula, the kibble is larger than any other I’ve seen). For our smaller dog, I only needed one bag and I put 40 cups of dry, regular sized, dry kibble. It worked out perfectly! They are easy to travel with and easy to open and close. So glad we finally stopped using plastic!!

    How many cups?
    OK – everyone is asking how many cups, and I wonder why the manufacturers never list any of the products by cups, but by weight…since these are containers they have a volume so it doesn’t make sense to me. The bags, I sort of understand because they could rip if you over weight them. In any case, I’m about to break down the math – but I love the bag, it’s very much like a dry bag for camping, except it doesn’t have a stiff rim on one side like dry bags do, which I think would help seal it, so that’s why I listed as 4 stars in sturdiness, but overall it’s very well made.So the volume -I used Purina Pro Puppy Focus Dry food for this experiment.I filled up to almost the brim, and it really was too full because I only got one roll out of the roll top. It took 25 cups, and the bag weighed 7.2lbs. So it was over weight at max volume.I then took out 5cups, so I had a total of 20cups. For 2 cups a day for my pup, that’s 10 days of food. There was plenty of fabric up top to create a perfect seal, and the bag weighed in at 5.8lbs. I think this would be acceptable even though it is slightly over weight. This means that one cup of food is 0.29 lbs (a little less because of the weight of the bag, but that’s almost negligible).So, this is just the density of Purina Pro Focus, so your mileage will vary, but I know I could fit 10 days worth of food comfortably in this bag. Cool product. I’d be interested to know why they didn’t put a stiff rim up top.

    It holds a decent amount of food for a weekend/long weekend getaway. The food is fresh and not exposed to additional chemicals compared to keeping it in plastic bags and containers. It seals up very well and I love that it has a handle.

    Good travel carrier
    I bought this to use while on our boat with two dogs. The carrier is a good size, holds between 24-28 cups of food (with my dogs, it held exactly one week’s worth of their kibble), is easy to transport and easy to store. It is not entirely waterproof – slightly repellent, yes, waterproof, no. After ten days in humid conditions, the oils in the kibble did leach into through the bottom of the bag, which accounted for a slight dog kibble odor and left a bizarre red stain on the base of the cabinet where it was stored. But the food did not get soggy nor did it spoil in the time period we were on the boat in extremely hot and humid conditions.The side pocket is useful for storing small packets of ‘things’ you might need for a dog, and there is a bottom storage pocket which was handy for storing the collapsible scoop I use.It is a handy container for short trips and will be useful for taking food to the kennel. I would look for something more ‘leach-proof’ for a longer trip.

    Perfect for travel and boarding
    I bought this because my dog and I are about to visit family for a few weeks and I didn’t want to haul a big dog food bag! This fits 2 weeks of food just perfectly, around 30ish cups of kibble, but I can’t tighten it as much as I’d like so maybe 25 cups is the best for it. The inside is easy to clean and the outside is durable. We travel quite a bit so this will be well loved. I’m definitely buy more for my dog’s cousins who also love to travel!

    The bags makes my preping for my dog and traveling so much easier. First, the amount of food that fits in is quite acurate with the promised 2.2 KG. second the lit side compartment is a great feature to put other little thiings for your dog such as a foladavle cup holder to measure the ffod of your dog. Third the buttom where you can put a foldable bowl for your dog such as food or water. Finally the quality and durability of the bag is solid.
