    My dog no longer has two health issues as a result
    I don’t normally write reviews unless I really like something, and I have no idea how this stuff tastes.. butOur lab showed sensitivity to a lot of proteins and it took us a number of foods before we found one that seemed to work (a different highly rated fish-based food). Protein issues aside, she seemed to be in very good health and we thought the food was great. In the meantime, she had some other health issues. Frequent mucus build up in the corner of her eyes, sensitive skin, and she would spit up a small amount of water once or twice a day (a couple of tablespoons usually). She would much less often, spit up a lot more water. It was always just water though, not food, and not more than one time quickly, not like vomiting. This later issue got us taking her to see the vet. They concluded it was likely stomach acid-related and recommended we give her a little food extra before bed and maybe an antacid. This seemed to lessen the occurrence, but it never fully went away.Now just after turning 2, we went on a vacation she couldn’t go on and left her with a relative. Just before leaving we were unable to get her normal food and were forced to find an alternative to get her through the vacation (the food from this review). It was also fished based and we wanted to see if adding grain back in might change anything for the positive. Getting back from the trip, the relative reported very few water regurgitation issues. We thought she was being nice so we didn’t feel bad. Shortly after we were able to get her old food back and mixed the two to transition her back to it. Her water issue seemed to be more common again. We hadn’t been back long though, so we didn’t think anything of it. This time though, she seemed to have the issue almost any time she got up from lying down. Putting 2 and 2 together I concluded maybe the food was the issue. After stopping all other treats and switching to 100% the new food, the water issues went away.now a few months later she is back to getting her normal treats and is just eating the new food. I can’t recall the last time she spit up water, I want to say it hasn’t happened at all. In addition, her eye mucus issue is gone. She gets some on occasion, but at a level I would consider normal for any dog. I wish we had thought of this before now, it would have been great. needless to say, this is the food we use now and I couldn’t imagine ever changing it. Her energy and attitude are unchanged and she is doing great.

    Great product!
    My 2 year old Cavapoo was on mainly a chicken diet (treats, kibble, etc). He kept vomiting randomly, almost every week. The vet recommended switching proteins and possibly a limited ingredient / single animal protein diet. We decided to switch him onto this recipe and it has worked great! He has only vomited once, since being on the recipe for the last few months.

    Corgi’s favorite
    I have a Corgi and they are identified as having sensitive skin and digestive complications sometimes. So when I got my Corgi at 8 weeks I started off with Blue Buffalo brand dog food because of it reputation and quality dog products. My corgi hit a phase where he didn’t want to eat that anymore so I tried regular ingredient products and I noticed my corgi itching more and being constipated. I decided to try this after researching ingredients and grain free options. The ingredients in this limited ingredient food is perfect for my corgi and he eats it up as it’s his favorite. I keep the beef flavor and salmon flavor and rotate the days so it’s not like eating the same thing every day. He loves this food and it’s worth the price for me.

    Wonderful
    My dogs are apparently allergic to EVERYTHING, so our vet recommended a “limited ingredient” dog food. I had found this one at a local store in “small breed” chunks and really liked it. The dogs are doing so much better with this food, just wish i could find it in “small breed”.

    My dog likes this brand alot
    My dog loves this brand of dog food. No issues at all. His tummy doesn’t get upset, and has always seemed to be the same quality and color. (He’s a chaweenie also for reference)

    Cured my dog’s skin problems!
    My dog was having HORRIBLE skin issues — bumps/moles popping up everywhere. It got so bad, the groomer wouldn’t even see her for fear of nicking one of the bumps off. The vet recommended we try a beef-only food with grain and this one sounded like it was worth a shot. Well, within about two weeks, the bumps started shrinking and falling off on their own! And she’s so excited to eat now whereas with her old food, she’d often leave kibble in the bowl or even skip meals altogether. It’s been a month since she started on this food and I’m very pleased. The price point *is* high, but I’d rather pay more for quality food than have to pay for constant mole removals and expensive medication.

    I am very happy with the Natural Balance dog food, our Doberman has allergies to chicken so it makes it hard to find a good food without all the chicken and other additives that are not needed. Buying at amazon with prime shipping free, I save money and receive my food within two days to my door. This would be very helpful for people that are not able to get out a lot.
