Customers say

Customers find the phone grip to be of good quality and handy, with easy removal for wireless charging and the ability to adjust its position up and down the phone. However, the durability and slide resistance receive mixed feedback – while some say it stays on firmly and provides good grip, others report it popping off frequently and slipping off phone cases. The fit and functionality also get mixed reviews, with some saying it fits phones perfectly while others find it doesn’t work with iPhone 13 mini.

Provides a good grip & reduces palm pain & I think these are being phased out for the magnetic type
Received the periwinkle version today & it seems to fit my Ghostek case on my Pixel 5a5g nicely. I thought this was a curved grip but it is a 90 degree angle (square grip) where my phone case is rounded such that my case does not extend in to the corners but it seems to be holding well so far. Now it does not slide easily & I think the best bet is to leave it be. I needed this because I get palm pain from holding my phone (which I think was at least partially from statins). Now because of the side buttons on my phone, I have to place it fairly low on my phone so it still will work as a stand if set horizontal (off center) but it does not function as a stand vertically. It would if I put it lower but it is on there nice & tight so I don’t want to fool with it I really like it so far as I am not gripping my phone hard anymore. I have large hands for a woman & wear a large or extra large glove & sometimes even a mens large as I don’t like gloves tight. So I have avoided the phone attachments with rings & straps. I am putting the socket part between my index & middle fingers. This does make it easier to hold the phone in your non-dominant hand when your dominant hand needs a break. Now I just posted a question about the warranty. I am not clear on if it is 90 days or 3 years. The print is too tiny for me to read but I was able to make that out. If this seems to be holding up I am going to order another one because the phone grips are going magnetic. The periwinkle color looks real nice on a black phone (my case is transparent smoke) & suitable for a man or woman I am very interested in seeing the seller reply to my posted warranty inquiry. I do wonder if the white/clear version which they claim is curved would fit even better but I read the clear part yellows & that version costs a little more too. I will update if the periwinkle is not holding up but I am not going to remove it or slide it & hopefully wont drop it. Now I see they have another iwhite one for sale with a white popsocket that I am going to buy & I will report back what shape the grip is. If it fits I will keep it for a back up. If you have arthritis in your fingers or hands or wrists you need this if you can get one to fit your case.

    Can’t live without it!!!
AMAZING! Works with my iPhone 17 Pro Max. My phone case is an off brand, and it still works perfectly. I love that I can slide the pop socket to different spots for taking photos, etc. I never drop my phone because it makes it so easy to hold onto.

    Durable and effective
This thing is super durable, fits my phone and can be moved where I need to move it easily.

“Edges” of the circle pop & other tidbits
The ‘edge’ of the circle popper is pretty sharp & are irritating my fingers. I know I just got it a few days ago, but I wish it were buffed down, so it wouldn’t feel like it was getting cut. I just may have to find a way to smooth the edges down myself and “cross my fingers” (lol). Taking some sort of file myself I guess if it doesn’t wear in, would most likely be uneven though hopefully not make it lose it’s capability to stand when using it as one. I’d prefer to not have to self alter it. I had a previous different brand of one & didn’t have this problem. Can’t find that one anymore. The side clamp grip is really strong which is the one of the main capability I need it to have. I had one of a different brand that wasn’t sharp out of the box but they’re no longer available. This was one is all there us available in this clamp+ slide style & complete purposes I need. I have a Pixel 6a & the buttons placement, are basically in the middle of the phone rather than more at the top. So I like having the sliding option for the positioning. I’m one of those people that don’t want anything permanent stuck to my case w/strong adhesive as the usual grips on poppers are. Then I’d have to spend $$ to replace both the function of either the pop/grip/adhesive fails, or I feel I’d just like a different style where it’s worn the pic off or whatever when I feel to just get something different (instead of a llama blowing bubbles). I will have to already had to really pick & choose when to use the function of the between finger slide for stability or not dropping my phone vs getting cut. Which is a disappointment because with a med condition w/nerves + bones I have, it’s almost always the purpose of having to use it as such for me to make my phone still be in my hands held in between my fingers, so as to not drop it because I can’t control the instances when the affects of it occurs. The sharp aspect of the edges I hope will smooth out. The function & necessity for me to have it in the first place is something I have as always w/my medical condition that effects my hands vs not using – is a give & take result. (Also the stick on strap styles where you slip your hand in, is also another permanent thing that’d be there & not serve the purpose as a stand & the ring types ones are permanent and just lame bc they’re round and slippery. So paying for only one of the two needs for me). Anyways – just as a review of the product – sharpness could be smoothed. But maybe I just got one that’s faulty in this manner. Otherwise the clamp is strong & awesome bc it’s able to do it’s job VERY well. Any hints or tips on how to smooth it out would be appreciated. Thanks!

Cheap Plastic, too small to fit with a phone case. Rubber bands come off if stretched too far.
Google Pixel 9xl = Will not fit, will not clip over the top of any phone case. If I used this without a case it would clip over the front and would stay on. With a case it just grips with the rubber band strength, the ends are too short. I still tried to use it this way. Worked for about a month. The bands started to come off, so I had to push them back in over and over. This phone isn’t that big and the wings needed to be fully out to fit. Also, one of the “handles” on the wings just cracked which makes it non functional. Also, be careful because if it doesn’t go around and clip on to the front of your phone you will get a phone dropped in your face if looking at it in a laying down position. This is Way too much money for a cheap piece of plastic that doesn’t work with any phone case. Who leaves their phone out and raw like that?

This has made using my phone so much better. I was getting wrist and hand pain from holding my phone. I already have grip and muscle weakness issues due to my disability but recently larger and larger whilst thinner and thinner smartphones have played havoc with my small hands. I needed to buy wrist supports and was getting really worried. Popsocket has transformed that and is much easier than the previous holders I have tried. And I can transfer it to other phones or still use my phone on a stand or gooseneck holder as it’s easy to detach. Easy to keep clean and despite constant use still working great and not looking scruffy or scuffed. Top marks!
