How did we get our start?

Founder Katie McCarron turned her nutritional eye to her aging poodle, Rosie, who had lost weight and interest in food. The unnatural supplements in commercial dog food shocked Katie. She began to cook homemade meals, expanding into more healthy dog and cat products.

    This is the good stuff.
    This is the best! I have a #70, 8mos old rescue pup. Only had for about 5 weeks so far but he has already made it clear what a disappointment I am in the kitchen! Plus he has a poultry intolerance (immediate diarrhea) and is pretty picky. I can’t bear to touch that big refrigerated tube of meat that a competitor has – he loved it but too slimy for me! I was cooking ground chuck and rice to mix w/his kibble a few times a week (and I don’t even cook for myself!).The Rosie’s Beef and Potato is awesome! I use it as an add-in to his kibble. No chicken by-products, so, good-bye diarrhea! The more of the Portland food I use, the less picky he becomes, lol. And no more having to handle slimy dog food for me…yay!This product is the real deal!

    Great quality and my dog loves it
    I’ve been ordering this food for my dog for some time now, and she absolutely loves it. I rotate between the lamb, beef, and pork varieties and have been very happy with the quality and the packaging.My dog does great on it—no digestion issues at all (healthy poop!). I mix it with some dry food from Vital (rabbit, beef and liver), and it works really well. Highly recommend this product.

    Portland pet food topper that my dog loves!
    I have a very picky Golden Retriever that likes to be hand fed. I bought the beef and rice blend and she loves it as a topper (even though I put it at the bottom of the bowl). I get 4 meals out of each pouch, I mix it in with her dry dog food. I bought two more boxes of 8 each. I would definitely recommend this product!

    A must try if you’re considering human grade food
    My 14 year old Shih Tzu has been slowly losing teeth over the last few years and finally to a point that kibble has become too difficult to eat. I had already been thinking about changing him to a human grade food but his teeth forced me to make the leap.I was worried about the digestive problems of changing his food so I started by slowly mixing the wet food in with his dry food, which also made the kibble easier for him to eat. Ultimately, he has had zero digestive issues with this food and he loves the taste. He looks forward to eating again!I will continue mixing his dry food in for now as long as he can tolerate it. Then I will have him on just this. Since it is much more costly than kibble, mixing it while I still can will help stretch this food out a bit longer and save the wallet a bit.The food is made from quality ingredients you can see and while I probably would not stick a fork in and try myself, you could!

    My pup loves this food I use as a topper to her dry food. Each flavor is heartfully gobbled up! I have a slow feeding bowl ordered because she devours her meal too quickly!

    I bought this for my extra picky dog who is having issues eating and he is loving some of them. He prefers the ones not containing rice. Ingredients are clean and healthy. My dog is loving the smell and texture of this topper. Will buy again the ones not containing rice.

    The food is amazing and my dog loves it.It is quite expensive. But my dog is old and he loves it, so I’ll keep buying it for him.

    The food seems very good in terms of ingredients but my 4m old puppy got ill when she tried the chicken meal. She vomited and started a diaria with blood on the stool. I will wait a while until i consider again
