   Great stuff
   It’s exactly what it says it is: a temporary bland diet for dogs. Ingredients are simple, and I like that there’s pumpkin in it. It definitely helps my dogs transition when they are idiots and eat something they shouldn’t and have diarrhea.My dogs are small, (and luckily, only one of them needs it at any given time, though I do use it as a topper for one, who can be picky) and I have a food scale, so I split the pack in thirds and do one cup of hot water. If you split it like I do, just make sure to shake the bag sideways so there’s an even distribution of the ingredients. It’s super simple with the food scale and electric kettle. That third of a bag gives me enough for breakfast and dinner for one of my small dogs. While it IS ready, technically, in ten minutes, it’s definitely better to let it sit longer so the rice absorbs most of the water. (And it’s usually too hot to eat at ten minutes anyway.) I find it best to make it first thing in the morning and then get my other chores out of the way before going back and serving it.The big thing to remember, though, is that this is for temporary feeding only, just for the occasional belly upset. If you want to use it longer term, you’ll need to mix it with an AAFCO approved dog food so that your dog can get the vitamins and minerals they need. This can be done in increments, until you’re just using this as a topper.The only downside to this is the price, honestly. But as it’s temporary use, it’s not too bad. It’s always a good idea to keep one in the cupboard, just in case. I’ve ordered it quite a few times now, and I’m pleased to say the quality has been consistent with every bag.

   Perfect solution for dogs with delicate tummies

We do sprinkle some physillium husks and fresh shredded boiled chicken breast on top. The broth from boiling the chicken was saved in the form of ice cubes and added to the food and as a treat. For those dogs who you are having trouble drinking water, you can add the broth to the dog food mix. They will lap it up.PRICE: Super affordable, all can be used. No waste.RECOMMENDATIONS: Would love to be able to order this in larger quantities. With multiple dogs these little bags don’t last long.    A LIFESAVER when your pup is sick
   When my Pomeranian was a year old, he caught Giardia. 😳☹️ He was SO sick with bloody diarrhea. I bought this food in the chicken variety and he loved it, and it definitely helped his stools. I loved it because of how easy and simple it was, especially when I was so busy cleaning up after his poor upset stomach. Now years later I still give it to him when he’s not feeling well, and he still loves it and devours it. I’ve given him both the chicken AND salmon, and he loved both, although warning the salmon does have a strong fishy smell, because it’s SALMON. If you don’t like strong smells you might want to skip the salmon. Will recommend this stuff as long as I’m a pet owner- it’s that’s good!

   best for upset tummy!
   perfect for easing a tummy. we keep a few of these packets on hand so that when our dog has an upset stomach, we immediately stop his regular food and switch him to this for a couple days. has always worked well. only reason i did not give 5 stars is b/c it is simply chicken & rice which you could make yourself. but you can’t beat the remedy or the convenience.

   Cat Would Not Eat
   My cat would not eat this meal replacement. Following the instructions would result in making the whole package and then disposing of the majority of it in 72 hours. Complete waste of money.

   Convenient, easy to prepare, dog LOVES eating this. Worth every dollar penny.
   So quick and easy to prepare. Simple ingredients, no chemical additives. We always have this in the house in case our dog gets into something and has been throwing up. He LOVES it more than his regular food. I mix it in with his dog food once his tummy is back to normal. Worth the price. Big portion, lasts for several meals. We refrigerate the extra in between meals.

   What I need, often
   I do not think I can buy enough of this. My dog has a sensitive stomach and it’s an easy go to so she eats. She prefers this over fresh chicken shredded with fresh cooked rice.
