Great for basic walking
I’ve burned through two pair of this model of Skechers. I walk 2 to 3 miles a day on pea stone rail trails. I find that I tend to wear them many more miles that I should so they eventually break down. I intend to replace them every 8 to 10 months from now on and their price makes that sting a bit less. I haven’t had any of the issues that some of the one star reviews mention so although I believe “stuff” happens, I don’t fear buying my third pair today. For me, 175lb male – they are supportive and comfortable for my standard walks. I have other shoes for biking, running, hiking. These are my walkers so I can’t recommend them for anything else. i am also not a person who stands all day either so I have no idea how to rate them for that.

Great shoeâs, fitâs a little small
Love how they look, and comfy like as always. Only minus is the seen to fit about 1/2 size smaller than all my other sketchers

Good value for arch supportive shoe.
I was seeking a supportive shoe that didnât look like the quintessential âdad shoe,â and this shoe is fit for that and looks good for everyday work and leisure. As a heavy man, I abuse shoes with a lot of prolonged and frequent standing and walking. These shoes support well; not too harsh on the longitudinal arch in standing, and feels reactive to stepping, especially with heel strike. Some may not like the springy step, which could accentuate instability at the ankle, but I like itâs comfort on rocky or uneven ground. The added outsole support helps as the shoe ages because the insole has already lost some support with prolonged use. There is some support for over-pronation, but I wouldnât purchase it specifically for that need. By design, the shoe is light weight and breathable, which I appreciate, but then the trade off is that itâs not at all water resistant. It is non marking, has good traction, and several months in, it is maintaining a good tread. I generally donât get much more than about 6 months out of shoes, and going on 3 months, these are wearing better than others Iâve recently had especially the outsole and areas that tend to fail like the sides of the flexing point on the top of the shoe/toe box. A bonus I like is that the laces are slightly elastic, and that helps maintain the shoeâs support even if laces loosen a bit before tying again. Overall, I would purchase again.

Good shoe for problem feet.
Great shoe for a person who has problem feet. I have a terrible time finding shoes to wear for neuropathy in my feet. Much cheaper than Hooka shoes. I wear inserts for additional comfort. Fast shipping. I would purchase again.

These pair of shoes that I have purchased is comfortable for day to day usage. When I first try it the heel cushioning is very prominent but after using it a few times I can feel the shoe’s heel cushioning is formed around the structure of my heel. When the shoe makes contact to the ground while walking, it doesn’t make a sound. However, a caveat, So far my walks with this shoes is on dry ground, I don’t how it will perform on wet surfaces, but the groove should be sufficient for the task
