Easy to make recipes using readily sourced ingredients. I have 2 boxers each 70 lbs. I think fresh is best. However, I can’t afford to exclusively feed them fresh meals. I buy a high-quality kibble and mix with the fresh food to meet their caloric needs. I’ve made several recipes and the dogs have gobbled up all of them. They are beautiful, healthy, and energetic dogs.

However, there isn’t a bonus section (as stated on the cover and in the introduction) with the 30 day plan and the charts that I expected. They were the primary reason i bought this book. There also isn’t any contact information for the author so I can’t reach out to ask for this material. Book was also be more interesting with a few pictures or illustrations.

I was sick of spending a fortune on dog food just for my terrier to turn his nose up at it, so thought I’d give this book a go. I love how simple the recipes are, I just pop the ingredients in the slow cooker in the morning and and all the work is done for me. Thankfully all the ingredients are easy to get a hold of and there’s a section on budget friendly ingredients too which I find really useful. So far there hasn’t been a recipe he’s turned down, I can’t wait to try more!
