With this book you’ll get:
Pointers on choosing a guinea pig for your home and family Advice on caging, feeding, toys, and equipment Step-by-step instructions for lure and clicker training

Rolling a Ball
Place your piggy and small ball into a play area. Now sit back and watch. Your cavy might be curious (especially if you rub the ball with a piece of cucumber or parsley) and might nudge the ball with its nose. If so, you’re in luck! You’ve captured the behavior, so click and treat. Then wait and repeat.

Stand Up
Most guinea pigs look pretty cute when they stand up on their hind legs and beg. And it’s a simple trick to teach them with the lure-award method. All you need is a little patience and a supply of veggie treats.

Leash Walking
Everyone knows that dogs need to be walked, but have you ever thought about walking your cavy? Why wouldn’t your piggies enjoy a whiff of fresh air as well? To make this happen you just have to be safety-conscious and use your common sense.

Coming When Called
When playtime is over, how are you going to catch your cavies to put them back in their cage? The answer is simple: teach them to come when called, and save yourself and your cavies a lot of hassle.

Very Informational and cute!
This is a very informational book, not only does it talk about training your guinea pig, but also teaches you many great things. It tells you which cage is best, about their diet, and much more. This is a great book for beginners on guinea pigs like me. I would very much recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn about guinea pigs!(:

book
It was a okay book it was easy to read and understand, I would have liked to have seen more written on the personiality of the different breeds of guinea pigs, than what there was.. And the training of how to get a pig to do tricks was not really my cup of tea. I wanted to know more on what kind of pet they made and on the care of them. But other than that it was ok the pictures were very nice.

Makes it easy to love my Guinea
I really love this book. It’s full of beautiful photos and lots of good information. The front is all about Guinea’s in general- the last two chapters or so are on the “training” side of things. I am VERY happy with this purchase and leave it on my coffee table to open and ooh and ahh over the pictures sometimes.

Very well written.
The book came on time. It is a very well written book, with a lot of very helpful information in it. If you like your guinea pig and plays/work with it as much as my granddaughter does, then this is an excellent book to have on hand. I would recommend it.

Good info.
I have to guinea pigs and this book has been very informative about their body language and noises they make. We had always wondered what they were up to when doing certain things and now we have a better understanding of their likes/dislikes. Very good for someone who wants to understand their pets behavior.

Great Book
I purchased this book for my 11 year old son, who we just gave a Guinea Pig to. It was a bit advanced for him, so I’ve been using it. Very interesting read with alot of useful information for a first time owner. Highly recommended!

This book is awesome whether you are thinking about guinea pigs or already have some! We haven’t applied any of the techniques yet as we have only had our guinea pigs for a month and they still haven’t fully settled in yet, but I still really loved all the ways you can train your guinea pigs, and I really enjoyed reading the book! This book is easily 5 stars.
