    Well, ladies and gentlemen, I must say this very welcoming low price upright vacuum cleaner is very impressive.I vacuumed my floors (all of my floors: carpet, tile, linoleum, rugs) with my very expensive Oreck upright vacuum cleaner. That Oreck has been my Knight in Shining Armor because IT’S GOOD!Well, directly after vacuuming my floors with my Oreck, I went over it with my brand new Hoover Complete Corded, Bagged, upright vacuum. Oreck is no longer my Knight in Shining Armor…Hoover made Oreck look like it was sleeping on the job!My fellow shopper friends, it’s not necessary to spend huge bucks on vacuum cleaners. I’m so impressed with the performance of this Hoover, massively impressed with the extremely low price, and stunned it beat the pants right off of my Oreck.This is a super duper darn good vacuum cleaner. It is my new Knight and Shining Armor. I’m so at awe with its suction power! And, yes, it gets down deep into the carpets/rugs/floors to get every nook and cranny.     My second in so many years but i love this vacuum better priced then most easy to unclog suction could be better it tends to loose ovwr the years but for the price its easy enough to buy a nrw one best thing to remember is its easy to unclog clean out etc works excellent But do your self a favor and take off this bottom piece thats for holding the pet cleaning attacment save your self alot of hassel having to stop and unclog it sometimes the people who come up with the designing for theses tend to over think it

    No longer a Hoover customer
    Hoover has always been a brand of vacuum I have bought and been very happy with the quality.I’m very disappointed with this vacuum. It definitely is cheaply made and very poorly designed. First not even a few months into using it the cheap handle broke right off. The area that contains the bag was not sealed properly. That area also has the carry handle on it and feels like it could break too.When you go to use attachments the roller brush continues to go and while you are using attachment you have to lay vacuum down so roller brush doesn’t destroy carpet or rug. The vacuum does have strong suction which caused damage. The strong suction is the only redeeming feature.Unfortunately Hoover seems to be going away from their previous good quality and going for what is cheap.I will now be looking for a different vacuum with better quality and customer care.

    Easy to lift for a senior
    Works great and is lightweight, easy enough for me, a senior, to lift up when necessary. Suctions well enough. I find it is much quieter than my deceased beloved Hoover Windtunnel, which had frightened my fur babies horribly and could be heard above traffic while on the street. The only complaint I have is that the tube attachment (and there is only one) is not long enough to reach higher up than the coffee table. I had to cannibalize the Windtunnel corpse for its two tubes that, thankfully, connected nicely with this one so that I could get the top of door frames and other high, awkward places without using a step ladder and lifting the unit. Otherwise, I am very satisfied.

    Bagged cleaners ALWAYS better!
    After several vacuums where you have to empty out the contents that had short life spans, I switched back to the tried and true bagged vacuum cleaner. I am more than happy. It sucks up better, easy to replace the bag (instead of cleaning out the debris by hand each time) and easy to carry and store.

    They don’t make them like they used to.
    First attempt to buy this vacuum. First: Tracking number was bogus. Second:Vacuum never arrived. Third: UPS confirmed that vacuum never shipped. Third: Had to jump through hoops with Amazon to get a refund.Second attempt: First: I reordered the same vacuum. Second: The price had increased. Third: The vacuum arrived. Fourth: The clamps that hold the extension tool was broken. I thought, what the heck, I will just J.B. Weld the broken piece. Five: The broken fragment was not in the box or packing. It’s not worth the trouble to repack and ship this thing back for this.Six: The vacuum has good suction and is easier to roll than my old one due to lighter weight. Seven: The loss in weight is due to cheap feeling thinner plastic. Enough counting: I have only had it for a day. Time will tell whether I like it or not. Maybe this is why Walmart has stopped selling Hoover vacuums. Maybe this is why I won’t buy as much stuff from Amazon. Eight: Have good hearing protection at hand. The USAF jet trainer for decades was a T37 , nickname the Flying Dog Whistle. This vacuum cleaner makes an ear piercing high sound that is reminiscent of that jet. Do I hate this machine? No I don’t. It works fine. Its just not as good as my old one was.
