    I bought the Columbia Men’s Newton Ridge Plus II Suede Waterproof Hiking Boot for my husband a couple of months ago, and I have to say, we are both really impressed. He does quite a bit of hiking, and he needed something that would keep his feet dry and comfortable on those longer trails.Right out of the box, they looked great with a combination of suede and a sturdy design. He found them easy to lace up and felt like they provided good ankle support right from the start. The waterproof feature has definitely held up, even on rainy days and wet terrains, which is a huge plus.He’s also mentioned how comfortable they are for all-day wear. No blisters or sore spots, which has been a problem with other boots he’s tried in the past. The traction on the soles has performed well on both rocky paths and muddy spots, giving him confidence while hiking.Overall, these boots have been a solid choice.     Reliable, comfortable and long lasting
    I’ve purchased these boots three times now, and they’ve always been great. They fit wide feet comfortably, feel supportive, and are comfortable enough for all-day wear. The waterproofing holds up well, which is a must.These boots are for my husband, who works in construction, and he loves them. No other boots he’s tried have lasted as long as these. Columbia is a reliable brand, and this model has proven itself over time. We keep coming back to them for a reason.

    Very good pair of boots
    Very comfortable ! I haven’t found a pair of boots this comfortable and very well built ! I’m not sure about water proof I walked through the yard a couple hours after it rain my socks stayed dry but other then that I put about 47 miles in on these last couple of weeks paired up with some wool dickies boot socks and I have not had any issues no sore feet no blisters they have great arch support and ankles are loving them lol very light weight also

    1st four mile hike 🥾
    This is an initial review based on first day of use. The hike started off with temperatures in the high 60s but within an hour was over 75° . I walked 4 miles on and off-road. Half of the hike was on leaf covered gravel trail while the other half was pavement.Appearance: appealing active light, trailblazer style. With an aggressive tread. Time will reveal how the suede exterior holds up. I’m concerned these boots do not have rubber surrounding/ protecting the toes against damage and tears caused by traversing rocks, and roots.Wearability: I was impressed with the fitment and comfort right out of the box, I expect comfort may improve after a break-in. The inner soul was firm but comfortable,, lacking arch support.Breathability: these boots were adequate. I didn’t notice excessive heat buildup despite the long hike and rising temperatures. They remain comfortable.Traction: I rate the souls very good too excellent. Sure footed. Firm but pliable.Value: this color was on sale! I was persuaded by the discount, but not at the cost of ignoring quality feature features.I think it’s a good choice and a good value.

    Stylish and comfy. But, if you got sweaty feet, they are not that breathable. haven’t tried it in snow yet. I will write a review again after one year use.

    It’s been about 6 Months, still holding up great. These boots are sturdy yet not uncomfortable. Great for summer hiking or just a good casual winter boot with the deep traction soles. Keeps your feet warm and grips well on snowy surfaces.
