   I grabbed these Amazon Essentials Kids’ Lace-Up Sneakers in black for my active 5-year-old because they looked like a solid, affordable everyday shoe.    Great shoes for everyday wear!
   These are great everyday shoes. They are a navy blue color and can easily match many outfits. I really wanted to get these for my son to help teach him to tie his shoes. He has mostly wore slip on type shoes and learning to tie your shoes is important. My son hasn’t had any complaints with the feel of them on his feet. They are a basic pair of shoes with an affordable price.

   These sneakers fit my 7-year-old daughter great — size 1 Little Kid was true to size. If you’re sizing for a 7-year-old, I’d say size 2 is probably average depending on foot size. They’re lightweight, comfortable, and easy for her to wear all day at school and on the playground.The style reminds me of Nike sneakers, and she loves the pink color.    A tiny bit larger that Nike sizing, and a bit heavy
   So these may run a little larger than Nike. Kid is in a 4.5 Nike and they fit perfect. These are a five and are noticably too big. No biggie, kids grow insanely fast. They are a bit stiff and heavy and to me that’s more indivative of quality that anything. The stitching looks decent for sure but unfortunately we’re going to have to wait until possibly spring until we can rate durabulity. Does look just like pictured but they seem heavy. If heavy shoes are a sensory nightmare for you (ask me why I’m so fucosed on this issue, ugh) then maybe skip.

   These Amazon Essentials sneakers have been solid everyday shoes for my daughter. They fit true to size, lace up easily, and are comfortable enough for active days without complaints. They’re lightweight but not flimsy, which is important when shoes get worn hard. We love the retro style and they’re super cute with most of her things.They’ve held up well to regular use and still look decent after plenty of running around. Practical, comfortable, and easy to replace when the next growth spurt hits!

    Ich habe die Schuhe vor allem für den Alltag bestellt, also für Spaziergänge, Einkäufe und längeres Stehen. Beim Auspacken haben sie einen ordentlichen Eindruck gemacht. Das Material fühlt sich okay an, nicht billig, aber auch nicht besonders hochwertig. Optisch gefallen sie mir gut, weil sie schlicht sind und zu vielen Outfits passen, ohne sportlich oder klobig zu wirken.Beim ersten Tragen waren sie direkt bequem, ohne lange Einlaufzeit. Die Sohle ist angenehm gedämpft und gerade auf Asphalt oder beim längeren Gehen merkt man, dass sie nicht hart sind. Für normale Alltagswege finde ich sie wirklich angenehm. Auch nach ein paar Stunden hatte ich keine Druckstellen oder schmerzenden Füße.Was man wissen sollte, ist dass sie eher leicht ausfallen und nicht besonders viel Halt geben. Für längere Spaziergänge oder Wanderungen bzw. auch für unebene Wege würde ich sie nicht wählen. Bei nassem Wetter merkt man außerdem schnell, dass sie nicht wasserfest sind, was im Alltag aber meist kein großes Problem ist, wenn man das weiß.Nach einiger Nutzungszeit sehen sie noch gut aus, auch wenn man erkennt, dass es keine Schuhe für jahrelangen intensiven Einsatz sind. Für den Preis finde ich das Verhältnis aber fair. Sie sind bequem, alltagstauglich und sehen ordentlich aus, haben aber auch klare Grenzen. Deshalb vergebe ich 4 von 5 Sternen, weil sie für ihren Zweck gut funktionieren, aber keine besonderen Extras bieten.
