   Very cute! I do think they run a little big compared to other kids brands, but not so much that our son can’t wear them. He’ll just have to grow into them a little. They are also decently stiff so they will need broken in before wearing for long periods of time. No support on the bottom so also keep that in mind for long wear. I feel like the material will start to look shabby rarely quickly if he plays outside a lot, but I anticipated that.

   Stellar baby shoes
   These tiny foot-coffins, I mean, “sneakers,” arrived looking suspiciously pristine, like they’d just escaped a minimalist art gallery and were already judging my life choices. The miniature faux leather and mesh upper, a veritable sartorial symphony for the discerning toddler, was surprisingly well-stitched, defying my low expectations for anything that wasn’t designed to stop a bullet.Our little baby, a pint-sized whirlwind of pure, unadulterated chaos, could ALMOST wrestle these onto her feet with some degree of self sufficiency. She’s not there yet, seeing as she’s not even 2 yet, but she tries.The foam padded insole inside? Oh, it’s softer than kobe unicorn topped with mermaid caviar. I almost wept with envy, imagining the cloud-like embrace her perpetually-in-motion feet must be experiencing. Meanwhile, my own feet are still recovering from that regrettable incident involving a discarded Lego brick and my bare sole. Trauma, I tell you.The sole looks like it could withstand a direct hit from a runaway tricycle or a particularly aggressive stomp from a tiny foot determined to assert dominance over a patch of grass. And the athletic styling, “vintage-inspired” they say, makes her look less like a tiny human and more like a miniature, incredibly stylish, yet deeply confused, Olympian. Which, honestly, is an improvement over her usual ensemble of a half-eaten banana and a single sock. They also somehow manage to stay on her feet, a feat of engineering I previously thought impossible, given her uncanny ability to shed footwear faster than a snake sheds its skin in a heatwave.

   Stylish and well made
   These are much nicer than I anticipated. I picked these up for my three year old son with the intention of them being a rarely used play shoe. The quality exceeds the price point and they look much nicer than I would have expected.The shoes are well constructed, very well made and look very stylish. I ended up ordering a size bigger than I needed (mom brain had me mixing up sizes!) but the size is consistent with the Nike shoes I’ve picked up in the same size. They’re still about a half size too big but he’s worn them around the house and insists he loves them. There’s been no creasing with our light usage but I can see that happening with more intense or frequent usage.I appreciate that there’s a Velcro strap, my son is very tall and has big feet for his age but we’re not at a place where he can do his own shoelaces yet so Velcro he can do himself is a major plus.

    Nachdem die große Schwester (7) bereits mit ihren rosa Sneakern von Amazon Essentials glücklich war, brauchte der “Kleine” (3 Jahre) natürlich auch neue Schuhe für den Kindergarten. Wir haben uns für dieses Modell in schlichtem Weiß und Größe 28 entschieden.Der entscheidende Unterschied zum Modell der Schwester: Der Klettverschluss. Während sie schon binden kann, ist für meinen Sohn das Thema “Selbermachen” gerade riesig. Dank des breiten Klettverschlusses und der elastischen Senkel (die man nicht binden muss) kann er die Schuhe morgens in der Kita stolz alleine an- und ausziehen. Das spart uns Eltern morgens Zeit und Nerven.Natürlich ist “Weiß” bei einem 3-Jährigen, der gerne im Sandkasten spielt oder Bobbycar fährt, eine mutige Farbe. Aber genau wie bei den Mädchenschuhen ist das Kunstleder hier ein Segen. Staub und Matsch lassen sich mit einem Feuchttuch meistens rückstandslos entfernen. Nach zwei Wochen Dauereinsatz sehen sie immer noch präsentabel aus.Die Sohle ist etwas dicker und scheint robust genug zu sein, um auch das Bremsen mit den Schuhspitzen auf dem Rutschauto eine Weile auszuhalten (Eltern wissen, was ich meine). Er läuft gut darin und klagt nicht über drückende Stellen.Fazit: Für knapp 24 Euro ein super Alltagsschuh, der robust ist und die Selbstständigkeit fördert. Mein Kind schlüpft dank Klettverschluss und elastischen Schnürsenkeln ganz easy selbst rein – super praktisch im Alltag.Sie sind schön leicht, gut gepolstert und auch nach einem langen Tag noch bequem. Das Material macht einen robusten Eindruck und hält Spielen, Toben und Schule problemlos aus. Die Sohle gibt guten Halt und rutscht nicht.Für den Preis bekommt man hier wirklich viel Schuh.
