Good work boots!
Great work boots for my mowing business. Can be a bit hot but waterproof is necessary. Very comfortable! Would have bought another color way but they’re out.

Totally worth it.
These are easily worth the price even not on sale. They’re super comfortable and have a snug fit for me, as well as having the hydrophobic waterproof thing (water just bounces off the tops). The build is to the Columbia standard and they’re probably now my go-to favorite pair of all rounder all year shoes. The ONLY con I can think of when buying these for what they are, is that the bottom white portion easily gets dirt on it. But other than that, amazing.

Comfy, well made, great support… great shoes
LOVE these shoes! The soles are really cushioned, focus on mid-foot stride, and provide great ankle support. I use these for rucking, and they are just the right shoe for that activity: comfortable, waterproof, and sturdy. That they’re also quite attractive is an added bonus.

High-top trail sneakers? These are NOT your normal hiking boots!
I walk dogs. I walk a lot of dogs. I volunteer at my local shelter, and will walk up to 40 dogs over the course of a weekend. Which means I do lots of walking, much of it on outdoor dirt trails. I had been wearing my steel-toed construction boots, but they got so heavy at the end of my shift. I wanted something lighter that would still protect and support my ankles.I looked at all the hiking boots, and tried several of them. But either they couldn’t be tightened enough to snug up to my narrow feet, or they didn’t save enough weight, or they were so “waterproof” that my feet sweated my socks soggy while wearing them.I realized I basically wanted a hiking tread on a high-top sneaker, though I had no idea what such a boot would be called, or even if it was a boot at all. After several frustrating searches, these popped up in my results, and I bought them immediately, without studying them, in case stock was low or something.Lacing them up was a joy, as my feet were snugly held without the eyelets coming anywhere close to meeting in the middle. My feet are so happy! I first went for a brisk 5-mile walk, and my feet felt comfortable and supported.I haven’t yet walked the dogs in them, and will update this review when I do!

Gray shoe just not for me
The shoe looked very good online and it looked very good when I unboxed the shoe. It just didn’t fit well with me. I am a very broad person. The shoes are very broad. I just didn’t like the look on me, but the shoes are very stylish comfortable and well-made

King of the Mountains
We scheduled a trip to Rocky Mountain National Park on short notice. I had a pair of Hoka Anacapa Breeze Low shoes that I would categorize as “light” hiking shoes, but with a minimum of four straight days of hiking and rain expected, I wanted a second pair of something more substantial. Thankfully, I found the Columbia Men’s Konos TRS Outdry Mid Waterproof Shoe with the Mountain Blue/White color on sale for $76, nearly half price of other colors.I didn’t care about the color. Honestly, they just look like basketball shoes anyway. What I cared about was keeping my feet comfortable and dry during all-day hikes in the mountains with snow and rain. In that department, the shoes were a HOME RUN. I’ve worn Adidas, Under Armour, ASICS, and Hoka Clifton 9’s in size 10.5 for years, and the Columbia Konos 10.5 were a perfect fit. The Columbia shoes are incredibly comfortable, even during pounding all-day hikes on rocks and puddles. They kept my feet try, even when I slipped and went into a raging stream to my ankle. They were also durable, taking a pounding, including wearing micro-spikes over them, with no damage or fraying.Meanwhile, the Hokas were uncomfortable, provided minimal weatherproofing, and lacked serious hiking tread. They cost DOUBLE what the Columbia’s cost me. So clearly the Columbias were a home run in terms of value and functionality. I would absolutely buy the Columbia Konos TRS hiking shoes again.
